I had never listened to Justice Egonda-Ntende, until at the World Philosophy Day Conference at Makerere where he gave a keynote speech. He sounded to be a sober judge, and ‘apparently’ unhappy with the turn that the judiciary is taking - being used as a tool for oppressing political opponents. Here he is talking about the right to BAIL. Not all hope is lost. Some people still have the conscience to insist on the right thing.
