On his return from Germany, National Conference's rebel MP from Central Kashmir Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi gets a warm reception from his supporters in his hometown of Budgam. Their only slogans..."Ruhullah Ruhullah". In his address to the gathering, Aga Ruhullah revealed that when he was asked (by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in the Working Committee meeting of JKNC ) to resign and contest as MLA from Budgam, he lost no time to offer his resignation. "I just remained silent (in the Budgam by-election campaign and the result is before you. Don't compel me to campaign against you in future", Aga Ruhullah challenged the Chief Minister and the NC leadership.
