Kovacic staying has far more positives than negatives, because Rodri is 100% gone to Real Madrid, so that’s your primary DM out the door. With Anderson, Bouaddi and Nico G in that midfield, having Kovacic around isn’t a bad thing at all as a squad option, and more importantly he’s a midfielder versatile enough to add layers across both deeper and more advanced roles. Press resistant (receives under pressure with the ball glued to his feet, uses body orientation to escape the first line and carries out of tight areas in a way very few in that squad can replicate). That’s a specific, valuable trait when teams press City high and the build up needs someone who won’t panic. Add to that his ability to progress through carries rather than passes, which changes the rhythm of an attack entirely, and his composure in the second phase where he links defence to attack cleanly. I think that’s exactly what Maresca had in mind when he said he’d work with Kovacic this season if he’s available and fit, responding to that question after the Inter pre-season game. The negative is obvious. If he’s sidelined again for the majority of the season, the versatility argument collapses because availability is the best ability.

We built an AI-steered homing/killer drone in just a few hours I thought it would be fun to build a drone that chases you around as a game. It just uses an AI object detection model to find people in the frame, and then the drone is programmed to fly towards this at full speed as soon as it detects someone. This literally took just a few hours to build, and made me realize how scary it is. You could easily strap a small amount of explosives on these and let 100's of them fly around. We check for bombs and guns but THERE ARE NO ANTI-DRONE SYSTEMS FOR BIG EVENTS & PUBLIC SPACES YET. I was also able to add face recognition to it, and only make it attack someone it knew who was, it could easily identify the person from 10 meters distance. My bet is that we will see some sort of terror attack using this type of tech within the next few years. You still need some technical knowledge to build this now, but it becomes easier and easier. We need to build anti-drone systems for civilian spaces asap. I'm usually an open-source absolutist, but I will not post for now, it's honestly super easy to code but no point enabling. Disclaimer: this was built on a tiny drone for a game and would not hurt anyone, just wanted to spread awareness around this .

#10YearsOfMKMobile #MKMobile 41 Days until 10th Anniversary… On March 7, 2017 Mortal Kombat X Mobile’s eleventh update introduced a team of three new kombatants into the arena. #TournamentQuanChi was the first of two new Challenge characters, having a Special Attack damage reflecting passive that also granted his teammates Vampirism on tag-in. #TriborgSubZero rounded out the Challenge characters for the update, while also completing the Triborg team. Adding Frostbite for Triborgs on SP1 as well as a 50% Critical Hit Chance increase for ALL teammates against frozen opponents, he greatly increased the lethality of his teams. At the same time his Ice Shield on tag-in for 5 seconds immediately made him one of the most tenacious Triborgs to boot. Lastly, #WretchDvorah joined the roster via the Elite Pack as the game’s fifth Diamond Tier fighter. Her DoT based passive complimented #RavenousMileena’s and was especially effective at the time given the lack of DoT regeneration and immunity in the meta.

🚨🇨🇳 U.S. NAVY IN PANIC: CHINA ARMS ITS MAIN DESTROYER CLASS WITH YJ-20 HYPERSONIC MISSILES New PLA footage has shown a Type 052D destroyer launching the YJ-20 hypersonic anti-ship ballistic missile for the first time publicly. Previously demonstrated aboard the larger Type 055, the weapon has now reached the class that forms the backbone of China’s surface fleet. 🔸 The YJ-20 is a boost-glide weapon capable of speeds above Mach 5, with its range estimated at up to 1,500 km. Its manoeuvring bi-conic glide body can strike ships at a steep, near-vertical angle, making interception far more difficult. 🔸 The missile was cold-launched from one of the Type 052D’s 64 universal vertical-launch cells, ejecting above the ship before its motor ignited. 🔸 More than 35 Type 052Ds are already in service, with additional ships under construction. Unlike the smaller Type 055 fleet, these destroyers are produced in large numbers and routinely operate across the South China Sea and Western Pacific. 🔸 The YJ-20 does not need to replace the YJ-18. A mixed load allows Chinese destroyers to combine long-range hypersonic attacks with sea-skimming cruise missiles, forcing carrier defenses to confront different speeds, trajectories and approach angles. 🔸 This is what makes the integration more important than a single launch. Hypersonic anti-ship firepower can now spread beyond China’s largest destroyers to a far more numerous class, creating more launch platforms and attack directions. 🔸 The Pentagon’s leaked Overmatch brief found that American warships such as the Gerald R. Ford were often destroyed in Taiwan war games. Giving China’s primary destroyer class a hypersonic carrier-killer makes those scenarios even harder for the U.S. Navy. The threat is no longer one rare missile aboard a handful of large warships. It is China’s mass-produced destroyer fleet gaining the ability to attack U.S. carrier groups from extreme range. What threatens U.S. carriers more: the YJ-20’s speed or the number of ships that can launch it?

Most AI tools make you babysit every step: prompt, generate, download, repeat, and your references vanish the moment you move on. Right now, Pippit is running 90% off, first month for just $1.50, and Seedance 2.5 at 720p runs as low as $0.035/second vs. $0.079/second on other tools. I tried building a luxury handbag ad inside Pippitofficial's Creative Agent, and the difference is the canvas itself remembers everything. One product photo went straight into the workspace, and from there I could: → Shape the concept with AI before generating anything → Keep the reference image live in context, not re-uploaded every time → Lay out prompts, shots, and assets visually instead of juggling tabs → Link each stage of the process together → Generate the actual video with Seedance → Go back and refine just the shots that needed it → Build on previous outputs instead of restarting cold That's the real shift — it's not "type the perfect one-shot prompt and pray." It's an actual workflow: idea, reference, generation, edit, refine, done. Comment "Pippit" and I'll send you the link. #CreativeAgent #PippitAI #Seedance #PippitPartner

//The Wire//2300Z August 21, 2026// //ROUTINE// //BLUF: FBI ARRESTS MENTALLY ILL INDIVIDUAL IN NEW YORK, WHO THEY PROMPTED TO CONDUCT A TERROR ATTACK. CONCERNS GROWING REGARDING SOCIAL IMPACT OF LINDSAY CLANCY TRIAL AND POTENTIAL COPYCATS.// -----BEGIN TEARLINE----- -HomeFront- Massachusetts: The Lindsay Clancy trial continues in Plymouth, which has resulted in localized protests in support of Clancy. For context, this murder trial is the result of Clancy murdering her three children in the family home in 2023, after her husband left her alone for a few minutes to run errands. Clancy has confessed to the murder, and is currently attempting to plead an insanity defense. Throughout the trial, the crowd of protesters supporting Clancy have grown in size outside Plymouth Superior Court, with hundreds of people lining the streets to show their support for her. Analyst Comment: Ordinarily the Clancy trial would be classified as social commentary that while a horrific murder trial, would normally be confined to the tabloids. However in this case, it's resulting in wider impact that is worth being aware of due to the future threats that are presented. Many supporters of Clancy have taken to social media to abuse their children for TikTok videos, to show their support for Clancy. These abuse videos (along with the millions of people supporting them) have increased to the point that this is now presenting real risks for copycat murders over the next few weeks. New York: Last night the DoJ announced the arrest of an alleged terrorist, who was allegedly planning to conduct an attack at the New York Capitol building. The FBI provided Jessica Bowie with $200 to buy acetone, nails, and electrical tape at Home Depot which she gave to undercover agents to create an explosive device. Once the IED (which was a fake) was provided back to Bowie for the attack, she was arrested. -----END TEARLINE----- Analyst Comments: The arrest in New York was not a legitimate terrorism threat, this is a very clear case of the FBI plotting a terror attack themselves and getting some idiot to go along with it. Normally there's a bit of grey area in terms of how significant an arrest actually is, but in this case this is a Biden-era-style FBI investigation, which is embarrassing to have been such an overwhelmingly significant federal case. They put multiple active surveillance teams on this individual, with dozens of agents getting involved to orchestrate every single step of the alleged attack plans. Per their own documentation, they planned the attack themselves and targeted Bowie for an entrapment operation. At no point in the indictment did the DoJ ever allege that she was in communication with actual ISIS members; she was only talking to FBI agents who encouraged her to try some haphazard attack. Per the indictment, the FBI approached her first, after she posted pro-ISIS comments/posts online, and the undercover agent had to coach her on how to make the pledge to ISIS. As for Bowie herself, she does not appear to be a part of a legitimate terrorist organization, but a rather strange version of ISIS that she alone is allegiant to. Based on the indictment, she is very clearly mentally ill, and she did not know hardly anything about the variety of Islam that ISIS is known for (nor did the FBI agents investigating her, apparently). She did not even know how to spell "jihad" correctly, and most of her communications contained Arabic words that she probably heard on the internet. To be sure, she very clearly went along with the entire plot, and did desire to cause harm. However, the DoJ is pretending like they just stopped another major terror attack, and they most certainly did not. The worst part of the entire case is that the FBI almost got her roommate killed. While this entire saga was underway, Bowie was living with her roommate, and per the indictment Bowie verbally considered stabbing her roommate to death if the roommate were to discover the fake IED that the FBI had given her. In trying to make themselves look good, the FBI's entrapment case almost resulted in their mentally ill target murdering some random person. Alex Golesh said this in his first press conference as new head football coach at Auburn: " What you're gonna get from me, from our staff, and as we get rolling, our players is the hardest working, toughest grittiest program in the entire country. We're gonna work day in, day out. We're gonna find wins in every single margin we could find. We're gonna build a process driven program, a process driven program where we wake up and we worry about winning every single aspect of our lives every single day. I truly believe that if you buy into a process. A way of doing things day in, day out from the moment you wake up. To how you come in. To how you attack your relationships in a building. To how you attack the weight room, sports, medicine, nutrition, the film room, the teaching, and then certainly the work on the field. If you buy into eating right, sleeping right, hydrating right. Outworking people in the things that nobody else sees. The end result will happen a lot of the time. You don't control the end result. You control your daily habits, you control your daily process. And if you keep pouring into that day in, day out, day in, day out, us as a staff, the student athletes, everybody that touches our guys, at whatever point, the process will pay you back. We're also gonna have a hell of a lot of fun doing it. We're gonna be explosive on offense. We're gonna play really fast. We're gonna challenge teams in every imaginable way. We're gonna run the fricking ball. People around here like running the football, and I can respect it.

Don’t spread effort across secondary problems. Laser in on the single constraint that, if removed, would unlock everything downstream. Meme 2: Push through roadblocks A roadblock isn’t a reason, it’s a problem statement. You either clear it or escalate until someone does. Meme 3: Scrappiness Cost-sensitive resourcefulness over bureaucratic process. SpaceX’s scrappy approach extends everywhere: reusing test hardware, hacking tools together, building ground support equipment from industrial components instead of aerospace-grade systems. Small teams build end-to-end instead of handing off between specialized groups. Engineers are expected to design, build, and test what they own. Musk calls the alternative “ivory tower engineering” — design something, throw it over the wall, and let someone else figure out how to actually make it. At SpaceX, the person who drew the bracket is the person who welds it. Meme 4: Question requirements Every constraint — customer, regulatory, internal — is treated as a hypothesis to interrogate, not a fact to accept. This is the embodiment of first principles thinking. Meme 5: Treat everything as learning Failures and explosions are data for the next iteration, not disasters to be concealed. SpaceX published compilation videos titled “How Not to Land an Orbital Rocket.” Spectacular droneship crashes, set to music. This isn’t just PR, it’s a genuine signal that visible failure is acceptable if you extract the lesson.

Anthropic released Claude Design TODAY and it's now accessible at I spent the last hour giving it a first look, and shared my thoughts and results in the video below. This is a BIG drop. This is a new design surface from Anthropic, and it changes what "AI design" means. Short version: Claude can now design. Not "describe a design." Not "generate an image of a design." Actual production work — prototypes, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, slide decks, landing pages — editable, on-brand, and ready to hand off. Here's what stood out on first look: → Real design surfaces Prototypes, wireframes, hi-fi, and slide decks — each with templates and proper structure, not just pretty screenshots. → Comment-based edits Leave a comment on any element and Claude revises it. This is the Figma-style review loop, with the designer replaced by a model that works at 3am. → Brand design systems You can feed it your system — colors, type, components — and it actually respects it. On-brand output, not generic AI slop. → Export anywhere PDF, PowerPoint, Canva, standalone HTML. Plus a built-in handoff straight to Claude Code for engineers to implement. → Import from real tools Figma, GitHub, and captured web elements come in as inputs. Your existing work is the starting line, not the discard pile. → Collaboration Share links for view / comment / edit — the exact tier system teams already expect. What I tested on Opus 4.7: • A 5-slide deck generated from a single screenshot. Claude asked clarifying questions BEFORE generating and shipped speaker notes by default. • A landing page build. Solid first pass, real components, real layout logic. • Multiple chats running concurrently. You can parallelize design work across threads like a small team. Why this matters: PMs, founders, marketers, and non-engineers can now create designs that engineers can actually ship with production-ready output and a claude code handoff built in. The gap between "I have an idea" and "here's a working prototype with my brand applied" just collapsed to minutes. Full walkthrough, live demos, exports, and honest takes on where it breaks below. P.S. • This is an Anthropic Labs product — NOT GA yet. • Claude Design is currently webapp only (no API), and does not yet support the Analytics API, Compliance API, or cost/usage reporting. • Availability: – Default ON for Pro / Max / Team – Default OFF for Enterprise Enterprise admins can toggle it on via RBAC in console (comes with a ~$20/user initial credit).
