"MEV is just not suitable for financial markets." This is the conversation happening across institutions and the industry at the highest levels. Injective addresses MEV at the protocol level. Transactions are batched and processed together at set intervals through a Frequent Batch Auction system. All orders are sealed until the auction closes, so no bot can peek at pending transactions and adjust ahead of them. Every order in a batch clears at a single uniform price, which removes the sequencing advantage that MEV relies on entirely. MEV resistance is native to Injective, the only chain built for financial markets to truly thrive.

This week at Devconnect, Clave launched on zkSync Era with two powerful payment use cases in a real-world setting at zkCafé and zkBazaar in Istanbul. Re-live the experience: The highlights ⬇️ ∎ Native account abstraction = frictionless UX ∎ Account abstraction can streamline wallet interactions to make account management as straightforward as it is with email accounts. Using native account abstraction on zkSync Era, Clave is leading the way with its biometric-powered smart wallet and setting the standard for seamless mass-market payments onchain. ∎ A real-world use-case for crypto payments ∎ Devconnect attendees experienced the power of native account abstraction while using Clave and received free refreshments and local goods in the process. To set up their wallet, attendees simply entered their biometrics and a nickname to get started. As a welcome gift, Clave accounts came preloaded with mock tokens for a unique experience at zkCafé and zkBazaar, where merchants from Istanbul’s famous market set up shop and accepted payments with Clave—delivering a user experience akin to Apple Pay. ∎ Setting a new standard for usability ∎ Clave will unlock four key usability features by building on zkSync Era and implementing account abstraction: biometric authentication with secure enclave, sponsored transactions, paymasters and social recovery. In the near future, Clave will also introduce session keys, trusted onchain accounts, and daily spending limits, which will provide additional security measures to protect users' accounts.

KASPA'S 2026 PIVOT: PAYMENTS RAIL TO PROGRAMMABLE L1 Kaspa is shifting categories this year. The proof-of-work BlockDAG that runs at 10 blocks per second now has a roadmap pushing it from a fast payments chain into a programmable base layer. Igra Network went live in March as a decentralized EVM execution layer on top of Kaspa, hitting 3,000 transactions per second with 15 protocols deployed at launch and a clean Sigma Prime audit. KAS wraps 1:1 to iKAS as the network's gas token. The Toccata hard fork follows in June. It bundles native KRC-20 tokens, covenants, and zero-knowledge verification opcodes into Layer 1 through a new scripting language called SilverScript. $KAS trades around $0.036 with a $985 million market cap, up 12% on the week. Roughly 95% of the 28.7 billion supply is already mined. DAGKnight consensus is queued for Q3.

At this point, based on the actual numbers, it's pretty clear some of the big Xbox fan accounts on Twitter, are orders of magnitude more toxic in their volume of console war negativity, over any other platforms. Whilst at work I figured I'd do some analysis on the numbers, since opinions/perception is one thing, hard data/numbers another. In terms of three PlayStation centric accounts to compare that are repeatedly brought up by Xbox fans or had the most comparable day one negativity: Most negative Starfield timeline tweets in a single day: Red Dragon - 7 KingThrash - 4 (all his own gameplay) JayDub - 3 Most negative Spider-Man 2 timeline tweets in a single day: JayRock - 82 PeterOvo - 43 The BlackViking3 - 33 Some trolling and negativity is typical within the community, but the sheer volume of obsessive vitriol coming out of some of these Xbox accounts, is unprecedented and bordering mental health concerns. And going by most negativity in a single day for these games, as a barometer to measure degree of obsessive toxicity, the Xbox fan accounts here are 1030% more vitriolic in console war contributions, and frankly in an entirely different league that's not even comparable. The incessant nature strikes me as extreme propagandist, genuinely insane behaviour. Pretty staggering difference when you think about it, and an eye opener in discussions around which big platform centric Twitter accounts, are the most toxic with console warring.

Flare cuts XRP DeFi onboarding to a single signature Flare (Flare ☀️) has shipped Smart Accounts v1.3, letting ripple:native holders mint FXRP and deposit into a yield vault with one signature from their existing XRPL wallet instead of two. The Flare Data Connector verifies the XRPL transaction and a smart contract handles the rest, with the original XRP staying locked on the XRP Ledger at one to one. The update adds the Clearstar Flare XRP Yield Vault next to the existing Monarq vault, and widens wallet support to Ledger, Xaman, Joey Wallet and WalletConnect options. Flare says FXRP deployed across DeFi has climbed from 82 million to 144 million since February, with more than 40 million XRP earning across roughly 24,000 Smart Accounts.
