building a $1m business for the second time. weeks 1-2 recap. i talk about: - posting on X after years of being quiet - blowing up - new algo vs old algo - what has changed and what is the same this is why i hate video compared to... long form writing. i forgot to state the most obvious thing. that before everything else, the point is to: - do INTERESTING, USEFUL AND DIFFERENT things - and SHARE them with the world now, after that, HOW you share those things with the world is what i'm talking about here. in long form writing, i can go back and refine my thoughts and arguments until they are complete. with video, i just vomit my thoughts and it's over. i guess i will either have to accept that this medium is for spitting out half-baked thoughts. or talk about concepts from my books that i have thought about deeply. not sure.show more

If there is one thing I genuinely and wholeheartedly hate with all my heart about Nigeria, its people, and especially its pseudo-elites, it is the unique ability to barefacedly lie to themselves and each other (in large groups and over long periods of time) about things that are obvious and self-evident to the point of farce. He treats his work like a diary entry (and doesn’t worry about internal or external judgment): ➡️ “What's the cause of the block? I started working at Apple when I was 23 years old and spent ~8 years there. I learned a lot, but deep down, I hated the idea that this was just how life was supposed to be… work at a desk until I’m 65, retire, and then finally have the time to actually live before I die. Today, thanks to Starlink and 𝕏, my life looks completely different vs others. It’s a dream for many, but a reality for me. I can go anywhere in the world - even sit next to a waterfall like this - with internet beamed down to me from space and the ability to instantly share my thoughts with millions of people. I can work. I can create. I can invest in the companies and technologies I believe will change the world. And most importantly, I can do it all while actually living my life and spending my time the way I choose. That kind of freedom is priceless to me. A lot of people often talk about technology in terms of speed, $, or convenience… but I think one of the greatest things technology can give us is freedom… the freedom to work from anywhere, create from anywhere, and build a life that doesn’t have to wait until retirement. Starlink has completely changed what “anywhere” means for me. And the wild thing is, when I close my eyes and think about the life I always dreamed of living in the future… I realize I’m living it right now.

There's something about design that truly makes me happy. Before I was diagnosed with a complete SCI, I loved building thing with my hands and trying to make them unique and beautiful. The accident didn't just take my mobility, it robbed me of my creative drive. I didn't I would ever get that back that was up until Neuralink came into the picture. I was very serious about applying but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Then Noland Arbaugh comes into the picture and I see his video and I saw how passionate he was toward the whole ide and that was like a switch. I want to thank Noland because if I hadn't seen that video I wouldn't be typing this message with my thoughts. So the day I gained control of the device I had the guys install Autodesk Fusion and the first night I had my first part designed by BCI. I have been designing things non-stop since. Now lets talk tools and the first one is the ArcDroid it is a CNC robot that holds a plasma torch and can cut profiles in sheet metal. I have made numerous signs, letters and parts with this and i love it. I have also had the chance to help the local high school install and setup their CNC plasma table. I love being able to share my knowledge with others and show new technology to kids that want to learn. The next one everybody is more familiar with is the Bambu Lab X1C. It is my first 3D printer and I had no idea how dang handy these things were! I can go from thought, Neuralink, Fusion, X1C and poof! You have your part all in a matter of like a hour. I make everything from parts for my wheelchair or RC ✈ to toys for my nephew. These devices have completely changed my life. I now have my creative outlet back and I'm not done looking for new things to try. I'm thinking a laser next!!!😎 Thank you Elon Musk for the opportunity to showcase my skills, I'm extremely grateful🙏

I think there's an advantage and disadvantage. The advantage is that I get the chance to completely rest. The disadvantage is that there are a lot of lonely moments. And as I kept being alone, I really miss the members. Yesterday, I suddenly felt this. I came back to Indonesia again after a while. I think it's been about a year since Sehun and I came to Indonesia for our fancon. I am at the same hotel as that time. Right after I went in, if my room is here, Sehun's room would just be right beside it so I can just go to his room where we can talk. That youtube video where we were playing the guitar and talking, that is the same room in the hotel. So I was like, "last time, I was here together with Sehun". When I have these thoughts, it makes me feel a bit lonely."
