2 Things I love about this build aside from the efficiency and hashrate: 1) you can easily convert back to a full S19k pro and recoup the full resale value if needed. 2) The ease of build unlocks the ability to produce a lot more for a lot less and heat large commercial spaces from 120V. Where the orange-pilled commercial business owners at?

How much you trust putting 1200 watts long term in a 110v plug? I bet that gets some wiring pretty warm.

Should be well within the 80% rule even on 15 amp circuits. Folks have been running these same PSUs on S9s at 1350 watts for years in their houses.

I asked Garry Tan how to use meta prompting to get better at AI: "My partners at YC Jared Friedman and Pete Koomen showed me how to do this. You can take almost anything that you do all the time and just drop it into a context window. And then say, “Here’s a bunch of inputs and outputs." And maybe you also add a bunch of notes. And then you tell it, “Write me a prompt that can act as an agent that takes this input and makes this output over here.” You can do this for almost any type of knowledge work. And you can even introspect. "What are things you notice that I did to convert this from the input to the output?”. And then you can just start using the prompt. Initially, it’s going to suck. Because it’s just not that smart yet. But what’s funny is now, I also use it to Iterate my writing. You can be very direct, "I would never say that", "Don’t say it like this", or "Oh, you used the long word there, use the short word". Just speak to it conversationally. And then when you're happy with the output, you can use that new output to make a new prompt. "Based on this conversation, give me a better initial prompt that incorporates all the things we talked about." And you can do this with literally everything. And in theory, there’s so much it applies to that people do day-to-day. You could use it for tweets. You could use it for editing podcasts. You can use it for pretty much everything. I have a folder of prompts that I use all the time. My YouTube prompt is on v27 or something. I'll go through this process with all the different max models. I'll use GPT 5.2 Pro. I’ll use Grok. I'll use Claude. Then, I’ll take all the outputs from all the models and put them into Claude and say "Here’s my prompt, here’s the output from four LLMs, including yourself. Rate each response and tell me what the pros and cons of each approach are." And I usually say "give it to me in numbered form". And then you can agree with one, disagree with two, tell it three is this or that. And then after that, you say given all of this, synthesize it."

$ASTS Abel Avellan on CNBC Full transcript: It is great to be speaking with you again. You've stayed very, very busy. There's a lot to get to here with you. But first, let's start with this idea of a joint venture between the largest U.S. telecom providers to add space-enabled connectivity. How will you play in that? Well, I think that's an effort to make, to divide connectivity to every American. And I basically make it in a way that is standard, available in every device, in every phone, for every carrier. And for that, that's great. It's great news, and now every American can get our service. Can you share any details in terms of that relationship and the role you'll play in it? Well, I think we are the only broadband system that is available in terms of technology to basically do hundreds of megabits per second directly to any device. This is a change of how the operators think about where the connectivity from space plays a role in your day-to-day usage of the technology. And I believe this is great news for us. We are a key enabler for this. We invented this. We did the first voice call over satellite, the first 5G connection over satellite, the first broadband connection over satellite. And just a few weeks back, we demonstrated close to 100 megabits per second for a space directly to your phone. And that's very, very unique and a very nice position to be in as we work to transform how people connect. Yeah, I want to get into that a little bit more here in just a moment. You also recently released earnings, maintained full-year revenue guidance. The thing that investors really focus on is these Bluebird satellites and how quickly you can build them and deploy them. I mean, we did see that Blue Origin, New Glenn rocket launch that ultimately ended in a failure to deploy your satellites in the correct positions and to be able to start operating and working. 45 satellites is still your plan for this year. What does that look like? It is, and we're on target. Today, we're shipping the next batch of satellites to the launch pad. We have launches approximately every month. And now it's opening. I mean, we have multiple launch providers as partners, including SpaceX. And we are very excited about what will happen during the year in terms of launches and in terms of multiple launches that we have multiple partners for doing that. Yeah, speaking of SpaceX, I was just in Alaska over the weekend, and it's incredible. You go to parts of the wilderness above the Arctic Circle. There's no roads. In some cases, there's no running water, but there is Starlink. So how do you think about this competitive landscape and this competitive environment when Starlink is looking to do direct-to-device as well? And then, of course, you have Amazon's Leo buying GlobalStar. Yeah. I think it's all revolved about the speed and capacity that you can get into the phone. What has changed the transformation that is happening in the wireless industry is that space is not just when you're in the middle of nowhere. It's when you're driving from here to the Hamptons and when your connectivity is not as good as you expected. So broadband will make a difference, making it available to absolutely every device without any change to the device and really get hundreds of megabits per second into the device. For that, you need a spectrum. You need satellites. And more importantly, you need large satellites because that's really where the tricks happen is physics. You need large satellites that have the ability to listen to the very small power that a small device putting going up to space. And that's what we have. We have over 3,800 patents and patent-bending claims on how to do that. That's what we have demonstrated. And what we're showing, we're showing up today. It's not a future demonstration. We just recently announced close to 100 megabits per second directly to a regular device. Yeah, forget energy. 1(2)

This is actually crazy Chad Bianco reveals how Democrats got voters to pass letting people steal up to $850 with no consequences Democrats knew voters would never vote for it, so instead they named it “The Safe Schools and the Safe Streets initiative” and voters were tricked into voting for it “Prop 47 made felonies, misdemeanors, misdemeanors, infractions, or not crimes anymore. It increased the, the level of theft to where it was a crime to that $950 threshold. And so that enabled just crime to just run rampant. It. It was profitable now to be a criminal, and there was no consequence” He says Gavin Newsom did this deception on purpose, “Never would the voters agree to that — The voters would never, ever, ever go for that -1 So what they did is they let you pass it and they gave you this sheet of paper and a ballot next to it with yes or no. And they said, ‘do you want safe schools and safe streets?’ And you said, yes, I do. And you said Yes. And that's what Prop 47 was. It was the Safe Schools and the Safe Streets initiative that our attorney General Kamala Harris at the time, our Secretary of State” “They lied to us and convinced us as voters to make that a law. And the thing that happens after that is that law can never be changed unless the voters change it. The lawmakers in Sacramento can't change a law that the voters put into place. So they lied to us. But why are they allowed to put deceiving descriptions on these laws? Because government made their own another law that said it was okay to lie to you.” Democrats are the party of criminals

Finally got around to fitting the NAKAMOTO MINING ™ ⛏️ $kas fan shroud on my KS3. As most ASIC miners know, these things are LOUD. They’re not something you can take home, plug in, and leave humming away without destroying everyone else’s sanity! Enter fan shrouds. They are game-changers, allowing you to take your existing miner, attach a shroud and an 8” fan on the end, and enjoy near silence. There is a range of different fans you can buy, but the one I usually go for is the AC Infinity S8. Cheaper options are available, so it’s best to research what works best for your budget. Lastly, you’ll need fan simulators, which are small devices that trick the miner into thinking the four large fans are still attached. This is important because, by default, the miner will not start if it doesn’t detect them. Depending on the model of miner you’re using, you’ll need to research what is most appropriate for you (more on that later…). Parts: 1x Fan Shroud 1x 8" Fan 4x Fan Simulator's 1. Unscrew the four large fans. 2. Remove the top cover. Disconnect the four large fans and connect your fan simulators. 3. Screw the rear/front shrouds into the existing holes on the ASIC using the provided screws. 4. Connect the 8” fan and use the metal clamp to secure the shroud onto the fan. (I usually place the fan at the rear of the unit in a ‘push’ configuration.) 5. Voila! I would honestly rate this a 2 out of 10 on the difficulty scale and encourage anyone with an ASIC running at home to consider this modification. It’s especially worthwhile because it is fully reversible if needed. Note: My earlier comment on choosing a fan simulator based on compatibility was a bit of foreshadowing, as once I booted up my KS3, I discovered that neither of the fan simulators I had on hand (No brand simulator and Njord Cloudline Simulator) worked with my miner. If anyone from the Pivotal Pleb Tech team can confirm if your NJORD-CL-V1-r1.0.0 is compatible with Bitmain's KS3, that would be awesome as I love your product. I have one on all my other ASIC miners! 😁 Anyway, in the meantime I'll have to revert today's install but as you can see - this really isn't difficult so if you're on the fence about doing this to your miner, I would encourage you to go for it!

Here is the Geometry Nodes Weighted Normals with Laplacian Blur on a full character (a vroid). It easily improves the shading even on game topology with almost no setup. I built this as part of my quest to improve real time toon shading. 3D anime models are popular, but use of dynamic light is rare even among high quality vtuber models. This is for several reasons, but a big one is simply that it takes a lot of Custom Normals work to make 3D cel shading not look like a jagged mess (other pieces of the puzzle are issues like deformations, multiple lights, etc). And fixing Normals is tedious, especially on existing game topology. I have focused on proxy meshes for priority areas like character faces, but they aren't an efficient solution for the whole body + outfit. I wanted something I could just throw on any model and make it at least not a jagged mess anymore even if it wasn't perfect. As you can see from this clip, this does that very well! And vertex groups can be used to control the style of the effect and power. It still can't smooth beyond what the topology density can support, but the topo itself is no longer a problem (for higher res, could be run on a subdivided version of the model and then baked to a Normal Map.) The only changes I made to this model were adding a weld modifier to merge split edges during interpolation, and a vertex group to select the skirt. I have not yet added full handling and logic for detecting edges with big angles like the skirt, or for handling boundaries like on the hair, so both those areas can get better too. You can also see that while it successfully smooths out the Face, it isn't really stylistically correct there. That is still best done with a proxy mesh to define a new shape. This is part of the tools I am working on for Fondant. We are putting together a Blender Addon to release this + a proxy mesh tool for the face, and are working on resolving other problems in-engine to fully bring dynamic light to real time 3D toon shading. Give us a follow, and send them a DM if you are interested in testing these tools as they develop!

🚨 BREAKING: Sec. Marco Rubio just walked right up to the mic at the Board of Peace and said it PERFECTLY on Trump circumventing the globalists! "We are here today because the President of the United States Donald J. Trump has both an ability and a willingness to use the power of his office to think OUTSIDE THE BOX." 🔥 "And that's why we're here. This was a very unique crisis in Gaza, one that the existing international institutions could not solve or figure out." "It needed a very specific type solution that required the partnership of all the nations that are here, including those that are here on an observer status." "This Gaza situation was impossible to solve under orthodoxy, under existing structures. And so what we did is they went to the UN and they got the UN's approval to put this group together and bring these nations together to come up with a very specific solution, solutions to very unique and specific problem. We have a long ways to go." "There's a lot of work that remains that will require the contribution of every nation state represented here today and we thank you for being a part of it." "And I hope this can serve as a model for other complex and difficult situations so they can be solved in the same way." "But right now the focus is on this one. We have to get this right. There is no plan B for Gaza. Plan B is going back to war." "No one here wants that. Plan A, the only path forward, is one that rebuilds Gaza in a way of enduring and sustainable peace where everyone can live their side by side with one another and never worry again about returning to conflict, to war, to human suffering, and to destruction." "Mr. President, thank you for having the vision and the courage to pursue something that has never been done before." "Every one of you is indispensable, including our observer partners, who we hope can find your way to join us at some point as officially part of this. But we are grateful for the fact you're here today and the contributions you've made already. Thank you." WELL-SAID, MARCO!

🚨 JUST IN: Trump is at the Kennedy Center for the board meeting and a tour. He is totally overhauling it. He says they wanted to charge Lee Greenwood $30,000 just to sing there. Trump also says he is going to get with Speaker Johnson to fix its architecture. "We're here to have our first board meeting, Kennedy Center, and it's in tremendous disrepair, as is a lot of the rest of our country, most of it because of bad management." "We have a little problem with some people that work here. We had Lee Greenwood wanted to sing a little song today. And because of the cost in the union structure, for him to sing a song just for the board, just a board meeting, that was gonna cost $30,000. That doesn't sound too good. They wanted $30,000 to move a piano. So you can't have that. So we're gonna we're gonna fix it up." "It's really emblematic of our country. At the Kennedy Center, you look at the columns outside, you look at, I mean, they're supposed to be covered by something, whether it's marble or granite. They were never covered. They were painted. But, bring it into more modern times, a lot of money has been given to it, and the money has not been properly spent." "They built rooms underground with no windows, no nothing that will not be used ever. You're not gonna have people use them. It's such a waste of money, such a terrible waste, but we'll make it we'll bring it back. We'll make it great again. But it is so much like what I'm witnessing in other places." "We have open borders. We have men playing in women's sports. It's all the same thing. It's all the same mentality and thinking. So I'm very disappointed when I look around." "The bottom line, it has tremendous potential, and we'll work with Congress. As you know, it's a very public, a very public facility, and we'll do what has to be done. We'll be having a meeting with the speaker in the not too distant future. I think it's important to save this structure in this building."

The naturalistic Origin of Life is impossible. Abiogenesis requires so many miracles, it makes the resurrection of Jesus look common by comparison. You could put all the parts of a living cell together in a sterile solution, and after a bajillion years they still would not self-assemble into a living cell. Life requires two things: 1. Life requires functional information. That is, informational content which gives functional purpose to molecules. Without functional information, molecules in Life would have no purpose and therefore be unable to function. In all human experience, only intelligence creates functional information. 2. Life requires energy. In order to replicate and conduct metabolic processes, Life requires a constant supply of usable energy. Not just any energy will do - throwing your phone on the grill will not charge it, will it? It needs a specific type of energy, supplied in a specific way that your phone can use it. Life needs the same. In all human experience, only intelligence is able to build systems that can harness and process energy. But here is the paradox: These two things - information & energy - exist in fundamental opposition to each other. Virtually all forms of energy in the world destroy Life's simple molecules. Chemistry and physics do not naturally move in a life-friendly direction. They do the opposite. Life's very fragile molecules require very precise and specific conditions to exist. Conditions that can only be created and maintained by intelligent agents. Origin of Life research has proven this, as virtually every experiment claimed to show "progress" in OOL Research requires highly constrained, specific conditions and sophisticated chemical recipes that could never possibly exist in nature. Life must have been Divinely Designed. Only intelligence can invent functional information, and only intelligence can engineer the systems necessary to harness & produce energy for Life's systems. That's what The Science says.

I need you to sit down for a moment and fully understand this: THE COUNTRY THAT SOLVES AI AND ROBOTICS WILL RULE THE WORLD AND SPACE. The west really only has Elon Musk, the east has 100s of companies fortified by an ENTIRE COUNTRY. Now some will argue no this is not true. No US company has the scale to MANUFACTURE, the compute power, and the finances to compete. Just a few hours ago we saw IRON for the first time, now you will. IRON, a 5’10, 150-lb AI humanoid robots are already building EV cars on the XPENG Motors factory floor. It has over 60 joints, a human-like spine, facial expressions, and male/female customizations The gait of this robot is the most human-like ever seen. Mass rollout in 2026. It is a very big deal. Because as the west does the best in clubbing each other over its head the last decade, China has looked and laughed and built at scale with a fortified government that has little diversion of goal, a 1000 year plan. The west has quietly plans and layers of lawyers and politicians. This is about where YOU LIVE and how you want to live. So when we kick the one person that is Atlas carrying our chance, in the groin, you make a choice on who’s world view you want. It is that simple. No, it is that simple. It ain’t no iPhone it is: whose’s world view will sustain. I can say no one is ready for what I have seen that is up for the next few years. You will think my bombastics were too tame.
