Q: Esteban, new year, new rules, new car. You've had the first run out this morning at the Shakedown. What are the first impressions? How did the program go for you? Esteban Ocon: Yeah, feeling good. I think, frist of all, an unbelievable effort from the team really to put the car down, you know, at 9:20 this morning. But the was ready at 9:00 you know. We were waiting on a bit of a better track condition and a few things that we wanted to be perfect before we went out. But yeah, from Fiorano testing with Ollie to here there's been moving like people have climbed mountains really to make this car work and it's been really good. So, we are dealing with the plan, learning as it goes. Of course, it's a busy program that we have for the day. So you know, its gonna be difficult to complete it. But for the first real day of driving, I think so far it's going really well and we'll keep pushing to make sure that all the details are covered. But we have more days than normal which is a good thing. Q: Very early days, of course, but just how different are these cars to drive? Have you had a chance to play around a little bit with some of the new modes? Ocon: Yeah, it's very difficult, very complicated. I got lucky be able to do a lot of simulator days before we started the year, so we are pretty well set on that. Everything is clear, but yes, it's very complicated you know, for all of us. But I hope that this will be the same for everyone, because if it is we're in the same boat, so we'll see. Q: But I get the sense you're really relishing that challange and what about the priorities from here, the rest of the weel here at the shakedown? Ocon: Yeah, the aim is really to learn, to get mileage under the car, you know, see the weak points, what we have to improve really. First feel of things, so we are sure that we take the right development path and we are sure that we put the resources where it matters the most. Where it's the most bothering us, so you know, we'll try and put all that together for that end of the test. NRG Strong on the lessons they can take away from their loss to Paper Rex: "I would say the major lesson we probably had was the importance of setting up the players for success. I don't think we did as well as we could today. Maybe there's one or two things we could have done better. I think the major lesson, to be fair, is that our fundamentals are strong. We didn't play badly at all today. But because of how we are as a team, it can always come down to very tight margins. We're a team that doesn't generally blow teams out. We're a team that is so, so good at grinding out rounds and doing that sort of stuff. So I think the big lesson is: we're good, our fundamentals are good, we just have to be tight, and we just can't let anything for error slip in. There are lessons to be taken from this. This wasn't a bad loss. You get bad losses sometimes. It didn't feel like, 'Oh, we don't know what went wrong.' No, we know what went wrong. It's one or two small things, and it's things that we can adapt to, and it's things that will be better under different circumstances, and things that we can make the circumstances better for as well. So yeah, I think that would be the big lesson. We just have to be tight in these circumstances and there's no room for error on our end. That's a big, big, big thing."

Incredible last few minutes of the Rick Rubin / Adam Neumann interview. I got chills listening to this. --- Adam: We'll connected to this week's portion. We all have something that we're slaves to. We all have an addiction to anger, to ego, to power, whatever it is, idol worship that we have. We all have an Egypt. We all need to leave that Egypt, come out of it. When we come out of that Egypt, we all face a Red Sea. When we see that Red Sea, we all need to have the courage to walk into it so far that we drown. Only when we're willing to drown will the Red Sea be split and we'll go to our next level. We then go to our next level. We see the Red Sea split. Suddenly we're like, oh, everything is okay. And we forget. The moment we forget, we step into the desert. We all have to walk through our version of desert. That desert is between us, us, and God. No one else. The only decision we get to have is how long we're going to journey through that desert. Are we going to journey for 14 days like the children of Israel were supposed to? Or are we going to journey for 40 years because we're not learning our lesson? Our choice is not, are we going to get into the desert or not? It's how long will we be in. And once we go out of that desert, we all have our version of the promised land. And if we have the courage to look inside, see our own correction, our own limitation, look at it clearly now and say, I see you, and I'm going to get over it. I'm going to learn. I'm going to grow. I'm going to understand that life is not about falling down. It's about how I'm going to get up. I'm going to fall 1,000 times so I can get up 1,001 times. Here is the clip and transcript for Johann answering why Robinhood chose to build its own Ethereum L2: "You see a lot of companies right now building their own L1. And for us, we felt excited about this idea where we can control anything that we want to build and we don't have to deal with any other chain to talk to or anything like that. But at the same time, creating the security of a real proper decentralized chain is extremely difficult, as you know. And we basically get that for free with Ethereum. The network has been going on for a very long time now and the security is stable and it's decentralized. And I think that's really the key two points that we wanted to have. When you look at some of these new L1s that are being created, it's not really decentralized and it's not really secure. So at the end of the day, you're basically having like a... fancy database that is probably a bit slower to use than an actual database. And so we didn't really see the value in that. With Ethereum, we get the security by default. The second thing that we get by having an L2 is that you get all this liquidity that is already part of all the EVM compatible chains. And that was also a very important decision factor for us. If we really want to bring the stock market onto the chain, we need to have this liquidity. It's not going to be possible if it's in a closed loop or in a closed chain that nobody can access and you need to have like 20 different hoops before you can bridge to that chain. So for us, that was kind of the two elements that we really wanted to focus on and that's why we decided on building on Ethereum. And then we decided on Arbitrum mostly because we love the technology. There's a few things that we are excited about. For example, Stylus. It's a way that we can basically use different language into the chain and we can build on top of that. We also like the way that they prioritize transactions that is, we think, a better way than some of the competition. And so basically we'll use the Arbitrum stack and we'll create our own L2, which will make us also compatible with all the Arbitrum chains. And so we think it's kind of the best of all the worlds. But for us, the idea is like we will start with public stock, and then we think that we can tokenize anything really, not just stocks. It can be private stock, it can be art, it can be real estate, whatever you want to think of. And so we really wanted to have a platform that is kind of easy to build on and we can keep adding on it. At the same time, we know that regulation are going to be hard on some of these products, especially when it comes to financial products. You always have different regulators. You have different rules depending on the region. If you're in the EU versus the US versus LATAM. And so we felt like we wanted to have our own layer that we could customize for these needs. And then anyone that is building on the chain will also be able to benefit from what we are building, versus just putting everything in a contract that will be just good for the people that are using the Robinhood contracts.
