It also shows the precise distance to your car in feet, so no more wandering through parking garages like you’re in a low-budget spy movie. Truly enjoyed working on the new map in Waymo app, I rewrote it from scratch in SwiftUI, it’s fully server-driven, 60fps with no lag between the map and content. Almost no MapsSDK API usage allowing to do fun things like screenshot testing overlays without the real map beneath 🥹
