Made my first AI executive assistant with Claude code. Claude It can read, send and triage my emails View and create calendar events Create and share Google docs Give me a morning briefing and I can add as many bash scripts for different automations. And yes I can use claude app to chat, it just read some reports on email from linked to google sheets and sent a summary to my email for my next meeting. Now I just book meetings like “find a suitable time on my calendar for this event and send them invites”

There's a built-in agent inside Claude Code you can invoke just by telling Claude to use the claude-code-guide agent Save this... you'll need it It's not a local file in your project. It's a built-in subagent defined in Claude Code's system itself. It answers questions about Claude Code CLI, the Agent SDK, and the Claude API. It uses Glob, Grep, Read, WebFetch, and WebSearch, but can't edit or write files. Its only job is to answer questions.

🍒 "I'm detoxing for my dopamine." Dopamine detox by reading. I need to bring my brain back from being addicted to pain and joy. Our brains are in pain these days. (It's been) one day. I need to cut down. I try, but it's hard... I try not to, but I find myself watching short videos. I read some books at the end of December, though—about four books. There's a Korean novel called Rapids. It's a romantic novel, and I really enjoyed reading it. What else did I read? Let's see! Oh, I read a comic book too. There's a comic book called DVD. I think I read it when I was in middle school. Or was it elementary school? Middle school? It was written by the author Chon Kye-young. A scene I like from it! some people come to me and ask “hey og sexy love muffin bec, why does it take you so long to shower?” here is the reason: (fun fact: when i shower during the day or whenever my kids are up, they sit outside the door or in the bathroom and make me sing to them (you can hear them at some parts sing/they start to argue over idk what but you can kinda hear that too it’s when i kinda paused) and they do this every single time and also pick the songs they want me to sing to them)

I read… A LOT 🙃 I treat books as my little escape, I don’t watch TV, so whenever I get a quiet moment, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand. A little reading rule I swear by! If a book hasn’t hooked you by chapter four, ditch it. Life’s too short and there are too many amazing books out there. You definitely don’t need to be a big reader to enjoy these!! Some are quick, some are cosy, some you’ll think about for weeks. I’ve just whizzed through them because I’m a fast and slightly obsessive… (borderline unwell) reader. I asked ChatGPT to work out how many words I’ve read this month, and I nearly fell off my chair. Maybe I need to get out more 🤣. I’d love to know, have you read any of these? Or is there a book you swear I need to add to my list?

All of my decisions are made by my gut, or my instincts. I counter them with my logic, but it's a distant second to my gut. When my gut has been wrong & hasn't worked out, I've had tremendous peace of mind and it felt good. When my own brain or someone else's judgment or point of view dictates my actions and it fails, it is devastating to me because I did not die on my own sword.

Right now, I have a few dozen tools to automate my life. Every single thing that I do more than once every week is now a tool: either a Claude Code skill, a scheduled workflow, or an application. • I spend the time doing this once. • I schedule it. • I forget about it (or at least, try to) CREAO is one of the platforms I've used extensively for building some of these automations. They are partnering with me on this post. They are one of the only platforms where you can go from a conversation to a scheduled agent that quickly. This is how it works: 1. You describe the problem you want to solve 2. CREAO's agent builds the logic and executes it 3. You can iterate with the agent to improve the solution 4. When you are done, you turn that solution into a mini app 5. You can schedule that app to run any time you need it Something important: These agents are deterministic. They don't use an LLM to generate answers, so they will always return the same output given the same input. This is critical: when you're automating something that runs every Monday at 9 am, you need it to return the same result every time, not a "creative" answer.
