Global attention is focused on the Persian Gulf. But we have news too. March 2026 became the first month when, in terms of deep strikes, Ukraine reached parity with Russia. The average number of long-range kamikaze drones launched by Ukraine has significantly increased, while the average number of Russian strike drones launched against Ukraine has currently dropped to 90–110 per day. Experts offer various possible reasons for this decrease: ▪️ drone production in Russia was not fully localized and partially depended on Iran; ▪️ logistics routes have become longer, and Iran itself now needs drones; ▪️ Ukraine is partially hitting production sites and factories; ▪️ possibly, Russia is stockpiling drones, perhaps for hybrid provocations in other regions; ▪️ it is also likely that Russia has started supplying drones to Iran. By spring, Ukraine has significantly increased strikes on Russia using long-range kamikaze drones. For example: on the night of March 18, Russia officially claimed to have "shot down" 238 drones; however, some of them struck a chemical plant in Stavropol Krai and an electronics facility in Sevastopol. Ukraine has also expanded its operational range: over 1,500 km. Russians have openly expressed concern about the security of military infrastructure in the Urals. Ukraine has increased and continues to increase both the production and variety of drones. Moscow has been declared a target: from March 14 to 17, Russia reported about 250 drones in the Moscow air defense zone. 📹: Ukrainian Defenders destroying Russian air defense systems in Bryansk region of Russia

"We are exceeding our plan for destroying Russian forces": Robert "Madiar" Brovdi in an interview with the BBC ▪️ In recent weeks, Ukraine has sharply intensified strategic strikes, primarily targeting Russia’s oil export infrastructure. According to the Commander of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, these attacks will only intensify. ▪️ The increase in strikes is partly explained by the fact that Ukrainian-made drones are becoming cheaper and capable of covering longer distances. "Putin extracts natural resources and converts them into blood dollars that they then direct against us in the form of Shahed drones and ballistic missiles," says Commander Brovdi. "If oil refineries are a tool to make money that's used for war, then they are a legitimate military target, subject to destruction." ▪️ "Madiar" notes that Ukrainian forces have become a "red rag" for Russians, as they have brought the war onto Russian territory and forced them to "feel it too." "1,500 to 2,000km (930-1,240 miles) inside Russian territory is no longer the 'peaceful rear.' The freedom-loving Ukrainian 'bird' flies there whenever and wherever it wants." ▪️ Brovdi’s strategy is not limited to long-range strikes. Another priority is reducing Russia’s manpower advantage. Drone crews have therefore been given direct orders to kill more Russian soldiers each month than Russia can recruit. That's over 30,000 men a month - a target the Unmanned Systems Forces have been meeting for four months in a row. "30% of all drone strikes have to be against military personnel. You can call it a kill plan, yes, and right now we are exceeding it." ▪️ "Madiar" believes that Putin cannot afford to end his invasion, because the risks of failure are too great. Therefore, Brovdi has another target: Russian morale. He suggests that high casualty rates, combined with large-scale fires at facilities deep in the rear, could trigger "a certain ferment" within Russia. He's aiming for the shock factor. 📹: BBC
