what if 2D game art wasn’t pixels or frames but thousands of living Gaussian splats? characters can melt and reform. lose splats when they take damage. zoom in forever without hitting a blur. animate without rigs or sprite sheets. we’ve built 2D games on fixed pixels for decades. the next era might be built from light. still an early demo, but i’m going to turn this into a real tool for 2D game devs and open-source it on GitHub soon. #gamedev #indiegame

This was my third Major, irl. And it increasingly gets harder not to love this game. Even harder not to appreciate the people around it! I’ll never lift a trophy. I’m not hitting 3000 elo either lol 😭 But that’s fine. Why? Cause every CS event reminds me that following your passion and putting in the work actually does pay off. Not in trophies, but in fulfillment. I’m incredibly fortunate that a hobby turned into something I get to work with. Mostly because of the people along the way, many of whom became friends. Thank you, Counter-Strike.

So I just wrote something with a heart full of gratitude. I did. But then, the way I feel is that I always end up writing something that just conveys my gratitude to you all, and ah… I actually wish I could talk to you in a lighter and more casual way, but I feel like I haven’t really been able to, and I find that a bit disappointing/sad. It feels like I always come across too serious (than I meant to be). I want to be lighter and more easygoing with you, not approaching you in a heavy, formal way, but rather in a friendly and casual way. But these days, even when I try something lighthearted, there have been various things going on and with the group activities and everything and so….. So it feels like the sense of closeness has become a bit distant. I’ll try harder to connect with you in a warmer and more approachable way.

I grew up “Ova East” in Chicago, the youngest of three….the only boy. My dad went to prison before I turned one, got out when I was 10, and then passed less than a year later. I was angry—lost, honestly. But I found football, and that became my way out. To say the least I grew up fast and had to navigate a lot early in life. Along the way, I had a lot of angels looking out for me, and I’m beyond grateful for the mother I have. Without her, I don’t think I would’ve learned to believe in myself so young. Who would’ve thought back then that I’d live this life? Made it to the NFL, had a solid career, met my wife in college, built a beautiful family, and now we’re building a business and a legacy. If I could talk to myself as a kid, I’d tell my young self, don’t worry, don’t compare. This test you’re in..One day, it’ll be your testimony. Love yourz 🙏🏽

🐹 To feel yourself grow and become stronger. To know that I had prepared well for that stage and to share that moment with our fans. 🐹 Once on stage, it’s such a thrilling and happy moment. But honestly speaking, it is a lot of pressure. 🐹 I don’t think I’m built to live this life of a superstar. I feel I’ve become way more famous than I deserve.
