Stop saying that Opus 4.6 is better than Opus 4.8. I just tested Claude Opus 4.8 (Right) and Claude Opus 4.6 (Left) on the same exact prompt. Claude Opus 4.8 completed it in less than 2 minutes. Claude Opus 4.6 "Garnished" for over 7 minutes. Stop using Opus 4.6.

Claude Opus 4.8 in Open Design absolutely cooked. We asked it to recreate a beautiful Three.js hover-card experiment. It captured the interaction, lighting, materials, and complex cube geometry with wild precision. Inspired by Zsolt Kacso original, which was built with Cursor Composer 2.5. Open Design now works with Claude Opus 4.8.

We've got Opus 4.8 at home! Running DeepSeek V4 Flash Vision-Exp on 2 x DGX Spark with OMP. This is a mini-benchmark firmware analysis task I've been using to test out different models/harnesses. Opus 4.8 didn't find anything in this firmware that DeepSeek didn't. Thanks Mia

Do we really need Fable? All made using Opus 4.8 with looping, including audio, 3d gun models, lighting, etc.

Opus 4.8 just dropped and I ran it through our CAD tasks. 4.6 → 4.7 → 4.8 side by side. The results are unexpected!

we asked GLM 5.2 and Claude Opus 4.8 to find and fix the bugs in two different scripts while Opus 4.8 finished a few seconds faster in both tests, GLM 5.2 burned roughly 17k–38k fewer tokens and absolutely crushed it on cost, coming in 15x to 22x cheaper! Test 1: GLM 5.2 ($0.068) vs. Opus 4.8 ($1.06) Test 2: GLM 5.2 ($0.045) vs. Opus 4.8 ($1.02)

Kimi-K3 vs Opus-4.8 Flappybird test. Kimi is significantly better than Opus. That’s the reason why I claimed it as Opus-5 level. Test done in Arena.ai

I asked Opus 5.5 to make a history of Claude models development. It built it in pure JS using only my skill. Awesome.

Day 3 of getting back to building my gamified workout tracker. (have some AI features) I just tested both Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5 for the multilingual feature, and Opus 4.8 is still slightly better. It only needed one prompt to solve it. My apps always supports multiple languages because I target multiple markets and don’t want to depend on just one market. Powered by Opus 4.8, Rork, Cursor

GLM-5.2 is now available on AI/ML API! We asked it and Opus 4.8 to one-shot a playable Backrooms, same prompt. Opus got the flashlight working but you can't run and can't pause. GLM-5.2 built the full mechanics. Opus: 2:14sec & $1.94 GLM: 1:08sec & $0.37 Docs, guides & setup below:

I saw this design and challenged myself to build it out. First time using Opus 5 for a full build instead of Fable. Wanted to test its capacity. Built using Claude Code. What would you rate this on a scale of 10?
