The game is a massive time sink, they are just farming our engagement. Competitive matchmaking proves this as well.

This is where I wish each activity had it own resource or just spoils of conquest and like the coil allow you spend it to focus on the drops you want from an encounter before starting

They need to either add the raid chest mechanic at the end or do the rivens lair thingy where you choose between an armor chest or a weapon chest once you’ve completed the encounter Also remove class items from loot pools once the class item is obtained.
