Some commentators on social media claim Labor’s anti free speech bill is dead. It isn’t. The bill is very much alive, with negotiations underway in Canberra right now. If I had my way, the bill would be in the shredder and Canberra would be empty. Australians do not need more laws restricting their freedoms. We need the government to enforce the laws already on the books. This bill as originally drafted could potentially give government the power to outlaw any group under the guise of hate. How long until having a biblical view on sex, gender and marriage is deemed as hateful, or perhaps having a view that mass immigration and multiculturalism is a detriment not a positive? Laws like this could be abused. And I’ll put money on it, Susssan Ley’s woke Liberals will back Labor’s anti speech bill. They’ll “water it down” just enough, then ram it through. They always do. 🚨 Another Ontario Place scandal This morning The New York Times reported that Therme made false claims to get the deal. Therme claimed they ran spas across Europe. They don’t. They just stole another company’s name and logo. Turns out Therme was hunting for a jurisdiction with weak oversight—and found it right here in Ontario, courtesy of the Ford Conservatives. I don’t know if most people realize this, but the carbon tax is a law that was passed. It can’t just go away. It’s no different than asking our government to break certain laws because they are unpopular and doing poorly in the polls. 🤣 Laws don’t work that way.

The corridor of people that don't understand the rural lifestyle that live in all the cities in Colorado are controlling that state. Because what they propose is that they want to set up a committee that cannot have any farmers and ranchers on the committee to decide what happens to our public lands and private lands in the name of conservation. It means that our elected representatives write the laws that bind us, not unelected bureaucrats. It means we believe in merit. That you are judged not on the color of your skin, but on the content of your character and your contributions. It means that we believe in the rule of law, so long as those laws are legitimately adopted. It means that you’re free to speak your mind, and practice your faith, without the government standing in your way.
