We live on outskirts of Vegas. We got almost 2 inches of rain the day before yesterday. Henderson, which is part of Vegas, also got slammed. It's a lake bed, they should not camp there for Safety reasons. A flash flood can go through there at any time. Understanding geology might help ye.
