📣 After nine months of bargaining and eight weeks of strike action, BCGEU public service members have reached a tentative agreement with the provincial government that makes meaningful progress on wages, affordability, and respect for frontline workers. This agreement was won through solidarity — from members who stood strong on hundreds of picket lines to allies across the labour movement who stood beside them. It reflects the determination, unity, and strength of our membership and of working people across B.C. While this tentative agreement has been reached, members of the Professional Employees Association (PEA) remain on strike. BCGEU members will continue to respect PEA picket lines in solidarity with those workers, who have yet to reach a fair deal with government. Until members hear otherwise, all picket lines will remain up. The bargaining committee will be providing further information to members soon. Full details of the tentative agreement and ratification process will be shared with members in the coming days. ✊When we fight, we win.✊

This took place in Wilder, Idaho this week. This is Trump’s America. A couple of children escaped the ICE raids at a family picnic event and are reunited with family. Many children were detained and zip tied by ICE agents. These two were lucky enough to escape. “I didn’t get caught!” Said the one boy. Many others were not as fortunate. ICE agents fired rubber bullets at family members who were hoping to find their loved ones.

ABEOKUTA, OGUN: For new viewers in the Naija Confra house, this was the day the eiye and buccaneer w@r in Abeokuta, Ogun State began. We discussed this back in March. Naija Confra’s investigations revealed that last year, Buccaneers were celebrating the signing out of a prominent member, as seen in this video, when Eiye members disrupted the event FOR NO REASON, despite no prior conflict. The situation would later escalate, leading to the de@ths of two Buccaneers who were caught unaware. This sparked the Buccaneers’ retaliation and the start of a full-blown w@r this year. Since then, the violence has continued back and forth.. Many Eiye members want peace, but the violent actions of a few cause harm to all. We hope both sides call for peace in Abeokuta to prevent further loss of life, as many prominent members have already d!ed in this clash on both sides.
