Her robe is called 贴里 which is a direct descendant of Mongol 质孙服 from Yuan Dynasty. Her fur hat is also Ming version of Mongol hat. Having traveled across 26 countries and now living abroad, I’ve realized there’s a HUGE gap in understanding about Asian Russians. Whether I’m in Europe or asia - the surprised reactions are always the same. This global experience inspired me to start sharing our stories! 🌏 Buryats, Tuvans, Yakuts, Kalmyks and many more - we’re all Asian Russians with rich cultures that deserve recognition!
