Married Female Teacher Priya Rani and Married Male Teacher Avdesh Pal of a Govt Composite School of Kannauj in UP were found kissing each other inside the school classroom. It is alleged that wife of Male Teacher planted hidden cameras inside the classroom with the help of some of the staff members who were not happy with this illicit relationship of both the teachers. Wife of Male Teacher is a Village Development Officer while the Husband of the Female Teacher alleged that his wife lodged multiple cases against him and torturing him since 2023. Department has suspended both the teachers now.

For decades, teachers have spent their own money, and parents have been asked to pitch in, to help purchase materials for classrooms. Our government is changing that. Starting this September, every eligible elementary teacher will have direct access to $750 for classroom purchases. And that’s on top of the classroom supplies funding school boards continue to receive, about $32,000 a year for a typical 500-student elementary school. The bottom line: we’re putting more resources directly into the hands of teachers, so they have what they need to support students in the classroom.
