This is speculation. But I think that Robert Kraft saw Stephen A. bashing Drake Maye and called Bob Iger. Kraft needed Iger to get Stephen A. under control. Kraft is also tight with Dave Portnoy, so I believe he sent Portnoy after Stephen A. as well. Kraft can’t have Stephen A. trashing the (potentially) next Tom Brady.
