Been wanting to film one of these because it happens so consistently and highlights a subtle but significant part of the V14 brain. Not only does V14 recognize collapsing lanes way sooner than V13 when it is in them and needs to get out, it also recognizes them when it is not in them, and is aware that vehicles inside of them need to get over. Here’s one of the many times I’ve witnessed V14 keeping space open for cars it knows will have to switch lanes.

We've been working hard on nailing the transitions and feel of open and closing columns. Feeling really good about where we've likely landed. Little burst of color at the top when a column opens to reiterate that's the column that changed. Cards load instantly. The column you closed gets a little bounce when it collapses. Very fluid and satisfying. You just want to play with it. Almost like a fidget. Business software doesn't have to be boring, bland, or corporate.

First time I've actually found one of Microsoft's AI Windows 11 tools to be genuinely useful. I know it ain't new, but "Click-To-Do" gives you some contextual options based on what you screenshot and then it automatically fires up the relevant app and does it. Needed a transparent version of this image for a review I'm writing, saved me a good chunk of effort.

In a world of crazy sport schedules, specialization and constant skill work, often times BASIC physical development is left to the wayside. When working with MS and HS kids, I do my best to work in things that don’t “look like s&c training” on purpose. It’s generally in our warm ups and on top of gaining mobility and working on skills, it’s fun. Yes lifting is important and vital. But so is basic level floor work and “gymnastics” work. Learning to fall, roll, cartwheels, move on the ground not only aid in mobility + reducing injuries but build a SOLID base of movement literacy. The younger we do these things and more often we do them the better. Remember… getting stronger is easier than getting more athletic.
