Grew up eating this. You need to cook and peel it then extract the juice just like Palmnut. There’s a hard seed inside which can be cracked and eating raw. Tastes better like coconut. The extracted juice is then cook with corn. Sugar and Milk is then added and enjoyed.

"Agɔ" in "Ewe" and "Mmaa kube". When it is not riped the in it, is jelly-like and it is very sweet. It gets very hard when it ripes. I am sure the oil comes from it nuts. Its juice is bitter when you taste it for the first time but very sweet when you continue to consume it

When you come to the Bono-Ahafo Region now Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Regions we have these specie of palm fruit but we call it Twie. We add it to corn to prepare a very delicious breakfast. I travelled to the Central Tongu and to my surprise they ha it as well.

It's more popular in Bono than any part of Ghana. We cook the fruit with polished corn and crack the hard seed till we get to the softer part ❤❤❤❤

Qoute me anywhere, I say if the Europeans had technology that they have today, before coming to Africa, slave trade would not have happened, they would have taken us out of the continent and occupied it themselves.

Very common in north east region to northern Togo 🇹🇬. People from bunkpurugu Nankpanduri side will be very familiar with this. Very sweet , like a big mango. Some have 3 seeds some have one or two. But its very heavy to transport

This is agɔ. When it's not ripped, we pluck it and drink like coconut, and when it ripen, it falls on its own. Some cook it with maize and eat. It is also for agɔteku. Our mothers usually sell that at Lomé.
