Split layout framework update. Since the last video: focus views animate, corner drags can move both axes, cross-window drag and drop with animation, all animations backed by CoreAnimation, and full accessibility framework integration (e.g. compat with VoiceOver). The focus view work was the hardest and most complicated. We allow caller-provided SwiftUI views for the focus style, but have to drop that back to a native AppKit/UIKit hosted view for smooth CoreAnimation integration with our other animations so they move in lock-step with our other stuff. Lot of work to get that to work, but I think it turned out great. The caller lives in easy SwiftUI land we handle that complexity. The animation timings and curves need to be tweaked. I think some animations are too long or don't feel right. But thats just parameterization at this point...

I stopped searching for APIs. I just generate them. This tool records the workflow once → reverse-engineers the HTTP calls → and gives me a reusable API. I built a YouTube-download API in under 1 minute. Paste URL → get the full video in 3 seconds. UI is dead. And nobody is ready for what comes next. Agents will use tools they create themselves. Just tried the beta. This might be the easiest way to build an onchain website I've ever seen. No dev skills, no code. Just drag, drop, and go live. I made a landing page for $COOK in minutes, added a buy button, images, and wallet connect with zero friction. Big kudos to the Kerem Gurel 🛡️ and team behind this. They weren’t built for fantasy football, they were clunky to use, and I could never get them to look the way I wanted. I hope this clears up about my engagement… That time was a particularly dark moment in my life leading to my 35th birthday and I decided with all the expectations I had on myself, with dreams I have always wanted, and a future with someone that would no longer be - I wanted to turn around and celebrate ME and went to get my dream ring 💍 for myself. I didn’t have a man to get what I have always wanted but I realized maybe I don’t need to. A relationship is a beautiful thing and I have always thought marriage (when it’s recognized in thailand 🤞) would be the pinnacle of happiness. If there is one thing that drag has taught me is the self love that sometimes waver when you loose yourself in a relationship. There might be a man in the picture in the future, there maybe not but the most important relationship I could ever have is the one with myself and I……am pretty Fking Fabulous… 💗

Improved the "Montage editor" skill I made last week. I spent a bit of time getting it to sync better and more knowledge of effects. It's effects library it knows to use is very limited for now, but that is an easy fix compared to getting syncing down, which still needs work. The edit style is meant to be a bit better than a drag and drop, but will improve over time. This was over 2 iterations, one to sync the clips, and another to add effects/transitions with some minor syncing fixes. Total time was an hour from start to finish, but only 2 minutes of my own time.

The Cleaner. Made with Veo 3. I wanted to challenge myself this past weekend and string an actual narrative together using all the capabilities of Google Flow and Veo 3. Veo 3 works exceptionally well when you know what to prompt for and have a story to tell. Consistency is something we can strive for now. Sure, a few minor details like gloves, etc, change. But I believe we are at the inflection point where we can finally tweak those things. This was 100% text-to-video using detailed prompts. I do a few prompt shares with screenshots in the comments. Exciting times.
