As a house flipper, one of the things that sets us apart, is that we ALWAYS restore and save original oak floors. The majority of flippers cover them with Vinyl, its tragic. Re-finishing costs $3 a foot plus repairs and patch Vinyl costs under $2 Vinyl is installed in one, maybe 2 days. Wood re-finishing takes 5 days and nobody can be working inside while being completed. It adds a week to your timeline. Its worth it Most buyers add value to the decision We sell fast I sleep better knowing we turn a quality product P.S. We are working in the wrong price points for our quality and attention to detail.

🔥🚨DEVELOPING: The music that Kendrick Lamar removed and re-uploaded appears to be every song that was accused of botting during the Drake. I noticed the only music that was removed was during this era and what solidifies my belief is the fact that Luther was removed and re-uploaded which had strong allegations of botting to force a Grammy for Lamar which created a false narrative of success after beefing with Drake. Drake’s Iceman releases Friday and there a good chance Universal finally has the tracks which is making them do damage control for their newest prospect which is Lamar. These are all allegations and theories on my end but this could have also been the red button Drake alluded and forced the platforms to remove Lamar’s alleged artificial numbers.

Thoughts from a teleop session today: 1/ Teleop is painful. UMI-style grippers are making more and more sense to me: shorter per-episode execution, more data, and more intuitive for factory workers who will be the ones with my product eventually. Wondering if PI resists this because researchers aren't the ones collecting the data? 2/ The take-away of the HF shirt folding post stuck with me: data quality matters most of all. I'm 30 minutes into this task and still making mistakes with teleop. What’s the perspective for non-roboticists? Maybe VR headset is better. Want to try that next. 3/ I’m noticeable better at teleop even when I’m just 15cm closer. 4/ Double-close gestures for re-record (left) and early episode end (right) are a game changer. Credit Andreas Köpf. 5/ Want to gamify my own collection more: thinking of a daily target dashboard. 6/ I’d like to rate each episode with a 1-5 data quality score. Don't wanna throw away bad data away, but still be able to filter top-quality. Maybe possible with foot pedals?

CapCut Design Studio changed the way I think about creating with AI. For a long time, creating with AI felt less like creating and more like managing files—generate, export, switch tools, edit, re-upload, repeat. Streetopia - Get Out Of Reet 🎬 Introducing the initial installment of an evolving tale brought to life by Generative AI. This captivating narrative has emerged from numerous poorman experiments and showcases the potential for an ongoing series of bite-sized episodes, each lasting under a minute. How I did do it? 1. All 3-4 shots of me are on green screen. 2. Backgrounds were created in a photo editor using stock pictures. Mostly stitched. Different aspect ratios. 3. I downloaded static 3D models & Animated models (greenscreen/alpha) and played with them in my motion graphics editor. Filled in some storefront windows with more videos. 4. Did some masking magic, camera movement, and played with layers and depth... for example, I masked the sky to add a storm and t-rex 🦖 5. Sent individual clips to Superstudio (in 4k) 6. Exported favorite renders (in 4k) and sent them to my video editor for choppin', sound design (poppin'), and voiceover (in 4k). See thread for examples. Challenges: • I wish I had a treadmill to actually look like I'm walking. • I was lucky with frame consistency. Except for the wide shot that fuzzed my face (me on the couch). I re-did the shot on Kaiber in a close-up and manually key-framed my face on that wide shot. • I couldn't do much about the buggy eyes in the last clip. • No butterflies were harmed in this video. How long did it take: • A day and a half with tons of happy accidents • How long will it take you? Probably much longer if you don't know how to shoot, edit, design, composite, edit sound, or know where to look for assets. But it's not impossible! What's the plan? To continue the story while still learning and experimenting along the way. This is a much longer process. Very tiring. Might try doing it weekly or bi-weekly. What's the story about? In the quest to escape Reet, everyone yearns for freedom. Ricardo, however, carries a hint of cynicism. He finds pleasure in the disorder and may seem reluctant to lend a hand. Nevertheless, the encounters with diverse characters along his odyssey will ignite a transformation within him, although not without challenges. Gradually, he will come to realize the profound truth: "Helping others is away is a way of helping ourselves." Show. You'll be familiar with this broadcast (Shot 18 September 1979 | Broadcast 31 December 1979), but this From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free edit bears repeating. The original footage was directed for the show by Bowie’s video director of the time, David Mallet, the action takes place in a high-ceilinged padded cell and an exploding kitchen with an unflappable nurse. Speaking to Angus MacKinnon in the NME in 1980, Bowie said: “That came about because (David) Mallet wanted me to do something for his show and he wanted Space Oddity. I agreed as long as I could do it again without all its trappings and do it strictly with three instruments. Having played it with just an acoustic guitar onstage early on, I was always surprised as how powerful it was just as a song, without all the strings and synthesizers. In fact the video side of it was secondary; I really wanted to do it as a three-piece song.” Both scenes were recreated for the May 1980 filming of Ashes To Ashes, the continuity experts among you will notice the very obvious differences.
