Under the system, registration numbers will be permanently assigned to individuals and can be transferred to their new vehicles after replacement.

MH govt has neither the will nor the courage to enforce rule of law as far as traffic is concerned. Forget about HSRP implementation on pre 2019 vehicles. HSRP is already mandatory (and plates provided by RTO, without which the dealer isn't supposed to deliver the vehicle) for vehicles from 2019 onwards and even these vehicles freely roam around with illegal plates or even no plates, and no action seen to be taken. महाराष्ट्र पोलीस - Maharashtra Police hope u realise the kind of security risk such vehicles are.

Make me understand, so Wavamunno was making Uganda's car number plates for over 20 years and everything was smooth, employing Ugandans, however, they had to give the new contract to Russian company that even has no record of making needles, you cannot Google it beyond Ugandan press, it's also taking 80% of auto EPS money away from Uganda 🤦🤦🤦 When old number plates are stopped,all Ugandans Wavamunno employees to manufacture plates will lose jobs, bonds already cannot sell cars due to delays in plates🤦🤦 So, where's BUBU? You can't write these things man.

Justice Simon Byabakama, the Chairperson of The Electoral Commission - Uganda, has criticized the Police for failing to enforce a directive he recently issued barring vehicles without number plates from participating in election-related activities. He said he had instructed that all such vehicles be impounded, but was surprised that, despite his directive, the Police did not comply, as many vehicles without number plates were still seen operating during the election.
