Yoruba people call it Imi Esu while Igbo people call it Agadi Nwanyi Isi awo or Ewu eri ọkụkọ Atu . The second image is the popular Awolo/Akintola leaf in Yoruba while Igbos call it Abari di egwu. I hope this explanation helps you to understand better . Meanwhile, Awolo leaf also have medicinal value . Apart from using it as a first aid to stop a bleeding, is a very good ulcer treatment and stomach aches . Nature is powerful .

gm gm. today is a special day as i have accomplished something i never thought i would be able to do. i started apes on canvas almost three years ago. i've done over a hundred oil on canvases, from projects such as The Ape Society, Pudgy Penguins, DeGods, among many others. but today, thanks to the painting comissioned by ESCO 🪏, i have done my first ever Yuga Labs MAYC. the paintings are oil on canvas and are framed in a baroque style frame, with about a tenth of an ounce of gold laid into the frames in the form of 24k gold leaf. this particular painting also included a first ever gold leaf applied directly to the canvas to highlight the gold coins dripping out of the ape's eyes. here is the final result, i hope you all like it:

I don't know how best to describe it but I'll try my bit. Oha is a kind of leafy vegetable, just like ugwu, efinrin, tẹ̀tẹ̀, ewúro (bitterleaf) etc are. Soup made from a certain type of vegetable leaves is called by the name of the leaf. You know just as we talk about bitterleaf soup, ọbẹ̀ ẹ̀fọ́ tẹ̀tẹ̀, ọbẹ̀ ẹ̀fọ́ ṣọkọ, ugwu soup etc, soup cooked with oha leaf is also referred to as oha soup. In frame one, oha soup is in the pot on the right hand side. And in frame 2 is oha soup served with ẹ̀bà. You know I'm #AgbaChef for a reason. 😁😁

It was painted a cheap gold and we turned it into a very expensively painted white, very heavy coat, of very, very, powerful white paint meant for steel, exposed steel. A very different kind of paint, but it's almost like putting a stone over the top of it. And the color is white, shiny white, and it looks a lot of people have commented looks so much better before they had the the steel painted gold, and the gold was very cheap. There's actually never been a paint that's made that will look like gold. Steve will tell you that you can't, you either gold leaf it or use real gold bullion or you use a different color. Nobody's ever been able to make a gold paint that looks real. Little minor thing for the for the media. I'm sure you're thrilled with hearing that, but there's never been a paint. I said someday I'm gonna to discover a paint where you don't have to actually use gold leaf. Gold leaf is a very, very big and expensive process, but it's a beautiful thing, but not when you use paint"

Another pasta dish, but this is a little ‘dirty’. Why make regular spaghetti when you can make a Louisiana favorite. Start with the trinity, add some slap your mama, a bay leaf and end with more flavor than you can imagine. I know I will have some traditionalist come after me over this, but here in Da Bayou, we are always going to make it our own🥰 Are you always a traditionalist when it comes to your recipes or do you shake it up a little bit every now and then?
