Max Fleischer's trippy version of "Snow White" from 1933 remains a fascinating and bizarre piece of animation history. In this short Betty Boop cartoon, Fleischer and his team condensed and twisted the classic Snow White tale, taking viewers on a surreal journey that defies expectations. One of the standout moments in the cartoon is the inclusion of Cab Calloway, a renowned jazz singer of the time. In the middle of the animated film, Calloway appears and performs the hauntingly beautiful "St. James Infirmary Blues." The scene is a rare live-action segment, originally from another cartoon of the era titled "Minnie the Moocher," which was another iconic song associated with Calloway. Interestingly, the footage and music used in the beginning of "Minnie the Moocher" are clearly the same recording as the song "St. James Infirmary Blues" featured in the Betty Boop cartoon. In a clever editing move, the two pieces of audio are seamlessly joined together, creating a seamless transition between the two cartoons. Calloway's appearance in the cartoon is truly mesmerizing. He begins by singing the tune as Koko the Clown, a character created by Fleischer, and then undergoes a transformation into a ghostly figure. The animation beautifully captures Calloway's distinctive enunciation and signature dance moves, accompanied by a barrage of wild and imaginative visuals. In addition to the captivating animation, the cartoon also incorporates scenes from the 1980 film "The Blues Brothers," in which Cab Calloway once again performs "Minnie the Moocher." This inclusion adds an extra layer of intertextuality, as viewers are introduced to Calloway through this iconic performance. "Betty Boop in Snow White" is a testament to Max Fleischer's creativity and willingness to push the boundaries of animation. The cartoon showcases his unique vision and knack for blending different artistic mediums, resulting in a truly trippy and memorable viewing experience. Directed by Dave Fleischer and animated by Roland C. Crandall, the cartoon exemplifies the Fleischer Studio's distinctive style, characterized by fluid animation, vibrant colors, and a surreal atmosphere. Their innovative techniques and bold storytelling continue to inspire animators and artists to this day. Despite being a departure from the traditional Snow White narrative, Max Fleischer's version remains a remarkable piece of animation history. It stands as a testament to the power of imagination and creativity in bringing beloved stories to life in new and unexpected ways.

Statement by Joint Force of the Armed Movement Joint Forces of the Armed Struggle Movements Military Statement To the proud masses of our people, In light of the repeated conspiracies targeting the security and safety of our homeland, the intelligence of the Joint Forces of Armed Struggle Movements, in coordination with the Sudanese Military Intelligence Authority , has been monitoring hostile activities aimed at smuggling unprecedented dangerous weapons into Sudan. These weapons were intended to be transported from a European country through Chad to Darfur, specifically to the city of El Fasher, with the goal of seizing the city using devastating arms. To the proud masses of our people, Thanks to precise intelligence monitoring from both across borders and within the country, the Special Operations Forces of the Joint Forces, in coordination with the Sudanese Army, succeeded in thwarting the delivery of these dangerous weapons. A meticulously planned military operation was carried out in the X area near Nyala at 3:00 AM on Sunday, December 1, 2024. Outcomes of the operation: •Seizure of 3 large drones capable of carrying four air-to-surface missiles each. •Seizure of 6 smaller drones capable of carrying two air-to-surface missiles each. •Elimination of over 30 mercenaries from the Rapid Support Forces militia. •Destruction of 8 military vehicles. Details of the seized weapons: The weapons included drones of the Danger Propellers model, bearing the serial number J/DF24-23-01-043A, manufactured by Woodcomp Propellers in the Czech Republic, Central Europe. These drones were modified for military purposes. Their entry into Sudan marks an unprecedented event, facilitated and funded by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and coordinated with Chad to ensure their passage. Message to the UAE: You must understand that we are tracking all your steps from the western and northern borders. Your plans will fail no matter how much effort and conspiracy you invest. Cease tampering with our land and security. Know that you are wasting your people’s wealth on a doomed project, and defeat will be your fate in Sudan. We will remain steadfast, determined to eliminate all your regional and international mercenaries and seize your weapons, no matter their cost. We also thank you for your generosity in delivering these sophisticated weapons, valued at millions, which are now in our hands. We will use them to further your defeat. Message to the Chadian regime: The Sudanese and Chadian peoples are bound by ties of blood, history, and shared destiny. Your support for the Rapid Support Forces militia with weapons and supplies, and your facilitation of their passage through your territory, is an act of betrayal that history will not forgive. Your facilitation of these weapons and your support for the militia is a stain of shame, and you will pay a heavy price if you do not stop this recklessness. To the Sudanese people: This exceptional military achievement reflects the readiness of our forces to confront all conspiracies targeting the security and safety of our homeland. We renew our pledge to you to remain vigilant and steadfast, with our hands on the trigger, protecting the lives of our people and the resources of our nation from any external or internal threats until we achieve full liberation. Glory and immortality to our righteous martyrs. Shame and disgrace to the enemies of the homeland. ⚫🟢🔴 Multiple global movements in addition to the Freedom Flotilla are converging to break Israel’s siege on Gaza, where famine looms and aid remains blocked. ➤ Global March to Gaza: An initiative led by unions and human rights groups from over 54 countries - participants plan to begin arriving in Cairo on June 12 and begin marching toward Rafah on June 13, with a major rally planned on the Rafah border for June 15. Over 10,000 people—including activists, doctors, lawyers, and journalists—have signed on, coordinated by Saif Abu Kishk of the International Coalition Against Israeli Occupation and Irish delegate Karen Moynihan. The march will seek to negotiate Rafah’s opening with Egypt to deliver 3,000 stranded aid trucks. Medical and legal teams are providing logistical support, and organizers emphasize this is the first real land convoy to Gaza since the start of Israel’s genocidal campaign. ➤ Tunisian Resilience Convoy (Steadfastness Convoy): Departing June 9 from Tunis, Sousse, Sfax, and Gabes, the convoy includes over 7,000 participants—1,700 Tunisians, 300 Algerians, and others from Morocco, Mauritania, and Libya, carrying medical supplies and food for Palestinians of Gaza. It too is set to arrive at the Gaza border around June 15. It is being organized by Joint Action Coordination for Palestine and backed by groups like Tunisia’s General Labour Union and Medical Association. It has great support from Tunisian ultras groups such as Leaders Clubistes and Bad Blue Boys Juniors, and travels through Libya and Egypt toward Rafah, aiming to break the siege and deliver aid. ➤ Freedom Flotilla Coalition (Madleen Ship): A ship carrying 12 activists—including Greta Thunberg—and symbolic aid like baby formula and medical supplies set sail from Catania, Italy, on June 1. Now just 150 nautical miles from Gaza, it faces interception threats from Israel, enforcing a naval blockade since 2007.

🚨Declassified UAP encounter has "SHAKEN the Intelligence Community and Military"🚨 This is why Rep. Eric Burlison wants you to dig into it! Watch the recounting of the series of encounters ⬇️below⬇️ or read the official summary below! Full report in post below. Full Statement about UAP Sighting This is an FBI 302 interview conducted with a senior US intelligence official regarding his first-hand account of a UAP encounter at a US military facility. USPER relayed to FBI agents that he and other federal and state personnel conducted searches to where orbs had been previously seen. After searching the area with a helicopter, they found a “super-hot” orb hovering over the ground. The orb is reported to have travelled for 20 miles at a speed too fast for the helicopter in pursuit. An additional “swarm” of lights were seen moving in all directions. A total of four or five additional orbs were seen shortly thereafter for a short time, flaring up and then down. This pattern of four or five orbs flaring up, then down continued over the next thirty minutes across the area. The photos linked in the "Related Media" section are connected to a set of UAP encounters on a sensitive government testing installation in the Western US in 2025. These orb-like UAP were observed at various ranges by multiple, and in some cases simultaneous, government personnel and sensors. The linked narrative is an FBI-collected account from a senior U.S. intelligence community official who witnessed the UAP with the naked eye, while accompanied by two pilots under NVGs. Other pilots in separate aircraft, and ground-based observers with night vision, also witnessed UAP during the exercise. The photos of UAP underneath the helicopter are from this same set of observations, taken through night vision devices by ground-based personnel.

Exciting updates on Project GR00T! We discover a systematic way to scale up robot data, tackling the most painful pain point in robotics. The idea is simple: human collects demonstration on a real robot, and we multiply that data 1000x or more in simulation. Let’s break it down: 1. We use Apple Vision Pro (yes!!) to give the human operator first person control of the humanoid. Vision Pro parses human hand pose and retargets the motion to the robot hand, all in real time. From the human’s point of view, they are immersed in another body like the Avatar. Teleoperation is slow and time-consuming, but we can afford to collect a small amount of data. 2. We use RoboCasa, a generative simulation framework, to multiply the demonstration data by varying the visual appearance and layout of the environment. In Jensen’s keynote video below, the humanoid is now placing the cup in hundreds of kitchens with a huge diversity of textures, furniture, and object placement. We only have 1 physical kitchen at the GEAR Lab in NVIDIA HQ, but we can conjure up infinite ones in simulation. 3. Finally, we apply MimicGen, a technique to multiply the above data even more by varying the *motion* of the robot. MimicGen generates vast number of new action trajectories based on the original human data, and filters out failed ones (e.g. those that drop the cup) to form a much larger dataset. To sum up, given 1 human trajectory with Vision Pro -> RoboCasa produces N (varying visuals) -> MimicGen further augments to NxM (varying motions). This is the way to trade compute for expensive human data by GPU-accelerated simulation. A while ago, I mentioned that teleoperation is fundamentally not scalable, because we are always limited by 24 hrs/robot/day in the world of atoms. Our new GR00T synthetic data pipeline breaks this barrier in the world of bits. Scaling has been so much fun for LLMs, and it's finally our turn to have fun in robotics! We are building tools to enable everyone in the ecosystem to scale up with us. Links in thread:

The Krishna Raja Sagar (KRS) Dam has entered the crucial Southwest Monsoon season of 2026 with one of its poorest water positions in recent years, raising concerns over the sluggish progress of rainfall in the Cauvery catchment areas of Kodagu. According to official data from Cauvery Neeravari Nigama Limited (CNNL) on June 28, 2026, the reservoir held 11.233 tmcft (thousand million cubic feet) of water at a level of 81 feet against its full reservoir level of 124.80 feet. The inflow stood at just 530 cusecs. Of the total storage, the live storage is only 2.809 tmcft, while 8.424 tmcft accounts for dead storage and silt. A comparison with data recorded on the same date over the past two decades shows that the present storage is among the lowest for the end of June and is dramatically lower than last year, when the reservoir had almost reached its full capacity. On June 28, 2025, the reservoir stood at 123.25 feet with 47.311 tmcft of water and was receiving a massive inflow of 73,811 cusecs following heavy monsoon rains in Kodagu. Notably, the cumulative inflow in the last 20 years is the lowest in 2026 (from June 1 to June 28) with 1.37 tmcft. At the same time, the cumulative inflow in the last 20 years was the highest in 2025, with 38.4 tmcft. The inflow trend also presents a worrying picture. At 530 cusecs, the present inflow is the lowest recorded among the 20 years listed, even lower than 547 cusecs in 2009 and 655 cusecs in 2019. By comparison, the reservoir received 13,437 cusecs in 2024, 36,510 cusecs in 2015, 23,867 cusecs in 2013, 11,483 cusecs in 2011 and a staggering 73,811 cusecs last year. Apart from weak monsoon rainfall and poor inflows, another major concern for the KRS Dam is the steady increase in silt accumulation, which has significantly reduced the reservoir's effective storage capacity. The estimated silt deposit and dead storage level at the reservoir remained unchanged at 4.401 tmcft between 2016 and 2023. However, it rose sharply to 8.179 tmcft (silt and dead storage level) in 2024, increased further to 8.379 tmcft in 2025 and has now reached 8.424 tmcft (silt and dead storage level) in 2026.

So Runway Gen 4.5 finally adds image-to-video, the workflow most pros rely on for consistency. We put it head to head with Kling AI and Flow by Google VEO using the same reference images and prompts (below) to evaluate motion quality, stability, and cinematic realism. 1. Action/WaterPhysics Test Prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of a man running in a shallow river. The camera is tracking the man from behind as he runs up the river. Handheld camera shake as the camera follows the man. 2. Fire Physics Test Prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of terrified woman running towards her burning barn. She abruptly stops, and puts in hands on her head as she watches her barn burn down. 3. VFX test prompt: Cinematic, wide-shot of a hooded figure. Flashes of purple magic and smoke whirl around the figure. The figure lifts its arms as the purple magic and smoke intensifies. 4. 2D Animation Test Prompt: 2D animated shot of a waiting at a bus stop in a thunderstorm. The man turns, walks to the bench, and sits down. 5. 3D Animation Test Prompt: 3D animated shot of an octopus. The octopus reaches into a coral and picks up a glowing white gem. 6. Conversation Test Prompt: slow camera push-in as two friends are having a conversation at a coffee shop Overall verdict: Despite the “world’s best” claim, Runway Gen 4.5 is not there yet. Prompt adherence is solid, but motion, physics, and cinematic realism still lag behind tools like Kling and VEO. Great platform, mid-tier model for now.

A message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life. William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness, can come light, so let that light shine bright. 🎬 by Will Warr

GM! Thanks for sticking with me through these long posts as we dive into the complexities of Kaidro. Today, let's talk about the development of our animation series. We haven't discussed this much because it's quite detailed. Where are we with the animation series development? It's a complex answer because our IP spans multiple mediums. Here's a simplified breakdown: - Learning from Anime: Like popular series such as "Fullmetal Alchemist," "Naruto," and "One Piece," where manga serves as the storyboard for anime, we've taken a similar approach but with a twist. - Starting with the end in mind: We began by creating 3-D assets in Unreal Engine 5 for our Webtoons and print manga. This choice allows us to use the same high-quality assets for cinematic TV, movies, and games, reducing costs and enhancing consistency. - Asset Reuse: By developing assets once for high-quality output, we can use them across comics, games, and animations. This method, similar to what was done in "Arcane," involves hand-painting over 3-D models for a unique look. - Cost and Efficiency: This approach isn't common due to its difficulty and the need for story consistency. However, it allows for smarter production, echoing the methods of visionaries like Disney and Hanna-Barbera, ensuring we can sustain and grow our IP like Pokémon. Current Status: - Pre-production: We're well into preproduction, with story development, storyboards, color scripts, and asset creation nearly complete. This groundwork usually takes years but we're ahead. This is because what I listed above are the mangas. Each manga counts as two episodes. And because each of those are fully developed, we have all the information we need to develop an episode. - Production Timeline: We're set to move into full production in 2025. Post our animation lock-up system with the community we am to go into full production after that in January. - Quality and Speed: An example of our efficiency is the cinematic for December 18th, where we reused game assets for backgrounds, finishing 43 scenes in just a month, which is exceptionally fast. Why This Matters: - For Investors and Community: This strategy not only reduces costs but also extends the life and reach of Kaidro, ensuring long-term success. We're significantly further in our animation development than most Web3 projects, maintaining high quality while pushing boundaries. Our hyper focus is on the production pipeline to allow for the anime to come to life. LFG $KDR
