We simply can’t have a decarbonisation on the cheap approach. Community knows the importance of steel and we need the public, Government, and companies to know it as well. Carney: Now, above all, we will build Canadian. The new security threats reaching our shores mean we’re making the biggest investments in our military in generations. But up until now, more than 70 cents of every dollar of military capital spending by our government has gone to the United States. With our new Defense Investment Agency, we’ll make sure we build more of our security and defense capabilities here at home—creating new careers in aerospace, shipbuilding, cyber, and AI for Canadian engineers, technicians, and scientists. It’s the same thing with steel. Consider that while 80% of the steel Europe buys is manufactured in Europe, and 75% of the steel the U.S. buys is made in the U.S., only 40% of the steel we use is made here. That doesn’t make sense—not when we have the people, the resources, and the companies to build right here in Canada. So, our upcoming budget will move forward with our Buy Canadian policy—prioritizing Canadian steel, aluminum, lumber, manufactured goods, and technology for Canadian projects. With new orders for homes, infrastructure, and defense equipment becoming orders for Canadian suppliers, we will be our own best customer

We went to the Congressional Black Caucus setup for tomorrow and was discriminated against , by the party who claim to fight for Democracy. After that, we pulled into Target. As we were getting out of the car a traffic controller who was standing right by our car. Saw our shirts and hats and loudly said, “we don’t fuck with Trump here.” Mind you, we don’t know him , we didn’t speak to him , we were simply exiting our vehicle. Someone called the police to report him . For people to feel comfortable saying and harassing folks like that because they’re brainwashed is ridiculous. But let it be known: you found the right Republicans. We’re a different breed. God made us exactly how He wanted us. Don’t come for us — we stand our ground. #DCparkingenforcement
