How exactly do you guys do the backgrounds? When entering a new area, is it the same background you use, or an entirely different piece of artwork? I’m trying to get into game dev to, and I’m trying to figure out how to do the backgrounds!

Every biome has its own unique color combination and identity! It helps to differentiate them from each other so players can navigate the sometimes complicated world a lot better! 💜

It's great what we can do to make our games beautiful without doing that will cost a lot of GPU for example. I love to see what the devs do. In Brazil we call it "Gambiarra", improvising and using imagination with few resources hahaha

pro tip: if you want to have graphics. you need ATLEAST a couple pixels
