Animaniacs - Goodfeathers (1994) This was made for sophisticated movie fans. Every reference is a nod to mafia movie culture, they live on a statue of Martin Scorsese and often visit The Godpigeon, and Ray Liotta, Robert DeNiro, and Joe Pesci are respectfully spoofed.

After this scene, Scorsese went up to Joe Pesci and told him "Nice, but that was kind of scary." And Joe Pesci replied: "Scary how?"

Yes. Joe Pesci & Robert De Niro are the greatest on-screen duo in the history of Cinema. Every film Pesci & De Niro worked on together is a masterpiece (see Casino)- the only question is to what degree. Even consider they shared the screen briefly in Once Upon a Time in America.

Most of the conversations between Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci were improvised. Martin Scorsese would tell them where to start and where to end. The rest was up to them.

Joe Pesci is 83 & unlike Robert De Niro & Al Pacino, Pesci hasn’t made a film since starring in Martin Scorsese’s 2019 masterpiece The Irishman. I don’t know why I’m still holding out hope that Pesci will returning to acting. I guess it’s just seeing Bob & Al still act that makes me wish Joe still did it himself. What an amazing actor. #ScorseseSundays
