CA Dems just pushed through a MASSIVE budget cut for charter school students, many of whom have special learning needs. They knew AB 84 was HALF-BAKED and passed it anyway. They should be ASHAMED.

AB 84 is what happens when control freaks in suits panic over parents doing a better job than the system. Cutting homeschool charters to "save education" is like burning down your house to fix a leaky faucet.

California is the losingest loser state in the entire nation. First there’s the top 10 states, then 30 more mid-range, then there’s another lower 10 and then there’s us.

The Ca Teachers Association has way too much power and influence over Ca legislators. While the spirit of the bill is good and well needed (more accountability and transparency with charters and more money for traditional schools), it falls short and does more harm than good.
