Their policies never end up helping the poorest citizens.

Of course they want to destroy charter schools. The last thing they want is the lower classes to receive a good education. They never wanted equity

If you are a charter school or homeschool parent you must fight. We just finished up homeschooling & I can say our homeschool co-op wrote emails, made phone calls, even protested at the state capitol. You must fight this to the Supreme Court if need be. Don’t give them an inch.

Next the teachers union, one of the most powerful unions in the country will press each State Legislative body to abolish homeschooling! That will be their next target if they are successful in eliminating Charter School choice. Parents have got to step it up. They’ve got to fight back, they’ve got to call and email these legislators your opposition to AB/84 Keep Charter School Choice in California for the 700,000 students state wide. VOTE NO on AB 84!

These school provide an alternative from the mandated LA Unified Curriculum. This alternate may present a threat to the teachers Unions who do not want competition. That is the exact reason every state must give their citizens choice to choose where to send their children to be educated, whether it be home school, public school or charter school. The freedom of Charter Schools give so many students a think outside of the box education. Many opportunities coming from parents that want to take an active role in their children’s education! Many parents have cutting edge jobs like aerospace, or even the music and entertainment fields which the share their talents with these children. They often come in share their talents and skills with the children. Something new, something that they may never have been exposed too, something they can aspire to become. Charter schools often have parents that want to pitch in and create state of the art computer systems for the students for free. Charter schools are like having a neighborhood school that everyone feels a part of and wants to just help out from time to time. It is the place of free thinkers not a MANDATED curriculums that force teachers to rush through lesson plans for that day often leaving the confused children behind. Charter schools are not teachers union driven Schools! Lastly, Charter Schools are available to everyone rich, or poor any color or culture. These are the schools that welcome everyone and their communities! With the focus of one common goal, The education of the children!
