It’s good when evaluating a system to work with primitives rather than your full set up as long as they share the same traits e.g. the system on the video should take something like 5min total

In general I'm making them as quick and not spend time on their looks if they add nothing in terms of perf so they are easily replaceable But sometimes you just gotta throw some fillet in there

A380 Body Gear Steering ✈️ The A380 Body Gear Steering (BGS) operational check verifies that the body gears steer correctly, respond smoothly to nose-wheel steering commands, and recenter properly. With the aircraft powered, hydraulics pressurized, and no active system faults, the aircraft maintenance engineer performs a BITE check, then commands steering to ensure both body gears counter-steer proportionally with no binding, hesitation, or abnormal noise. The gears are returned to neutral to confirm accurate centering and stability, followed by a visual inspection for leaks, loose hardware, or actuator issues. After confirming proper system behavior and rerunning BITE for post-test status, hydraulics are depressurized and the results are documented. Thank you ig/_misterrabell for sending me the video ✈️
