Caitlin Clark vs. Wemby’s rookie salaries 👀

Thank you for providing logic to this discussion. Everyone complaining about Clark’s salary doesn’t even watch the WNBA. More money the league makes, more money the players get paid.

After all the costs, their net profit is negative in the WNBA. The NBA pays out of pocket losing money every year to let them play.... that's why their salaries are low and most likely won't change

One important data point to add, the WNBA has been losing $10M per year for 25+ years and in 2021 they lost $12M. They would have gone out of business a long time ago if they weren’t being subsidized by the NBA.

This is the perfect explanation of what should be obvious to most. And for all of those complaining about WNBA salaries, I invite you to subscribe to the WNBA league pass. It’s just $35. I expect every Caitlin Clark fan to subscribe in order to watch every game she plays. That alone could lead to enough revenue to at least double the WNBA minimum.
