We see jersey retirements occasionally or at least see them in arenas, in person or on TV games. However, what really struck me here and made the weight of it more palpable was when she said "you'll be the last to wear #22". It's a very big deal.

She'll probably blame her skin color as the reason for this.

The way Caitlin’s face lights up (and she starts yapping) when she’s talking about her shoe, Iowa, and golfing CC admitting she whiffed it when taking her 1st ⛳️ swing 🤣 Kiddos as always to John Nolan for the great questions and for getting CC to smile (via Indiana Fever)

Kelsey says having CC and AB there makes her feel “not alone” and she wishes they were all on the same team. She missed them. God never separate our big 3 🥹🥹🥹🥹

the pure happiness on her face when the crowd cheered so loudly for her… you can tell she was beautifully overwhelmed by the love even though it isn’t her own solo concert 🥹

Excited to see Caitlin showcasing her analyst skills. She sat with the analysts at her jersey retirement game for a bit and dipped her toe in it, so I think she’s gonna kill it.
