Lambourn has been campaigned very badly recently. Jockey went much too fast too soon at Epsom and Ascot, just 2 weeks apart, now 15 days later he is asked to run here. Horse needs a break now. Aidan is a genius but this was poor.

Great horse, Calandagan, but pls sack that jockey. Deliberately gives cheap lengths away always and the horse has a far harder race consequently. Drives me mad. It’ll the horse’s career.

Calandagan has a true champion soul. To say that he succeeded where the great Montjeu failed ; winning the Japan Cup (2025) against Masquerade Ball by a head. Calandagan to be Arc Winner 2026 ? Daryz winning twice 2025 + 2026 ? Or his little bro' Daryzan for the Triumph ?

Should never never ran at Epsom( for multiple reasons), as Graffard conceded. To come back soon after and win another group 1 shows he is a great.
