I think some people are just not ready to read this, so feel free to skip🫴🏼 The thing is, you don’t want to admit that Serhat is a human too just because he’s a man. And I will stick to that sentence and repeat it as much as I can. Not to convince you, but because it’s a fact. If you ask Ercan the last 2 episodes could literally be titled: “How to emotionally break Serhat in every possible way.” If you’ve been paying attention from the beginning, you would already know how his character is built. He’s someone who was never allowed to express his emotions. Yes, he was treated “better” as the heir but what does “better” even mean here? He wasn’t protected, he was programmed. Forced to suppress everything, to carry responsibility, to stay in control at all times. And that stayed with him. And when you grow up like that, you attract people who treat you the same way. That’s exactly what happened with M. She treated him in that same controlled, restrictive way. The only person who didn’t was Yıldız. From the very beginning, she saw the real him the vulnerable him. No matter how high he built his walls, she could still see through him. And that scared him. Not because he doubts her, but because he’s not used to being seen like that. Every time someone saw even a fraction of his softness, they used it against him (Akif, Sultan, M…all of them.) Yıldız wouldn’t do that, he knows it. But that doesn’t change the fact that having someone understand you that deeply feels overwhelming. It’s human. Now, about the hospital incident and the lack of communication… Both of them are right and wrong at the same time. This isn’t about blaming one side. Some situations are just the result of circumstances, not fault. And if you actually watch the show because you care about the characters, you’ll understand that. The lack of communication from the previous episode clearly showed in the office scene this episode. Yildiz moved forward, trying to hold onto their promise to trust each other, to let their word be one. But he was still stuck in that moment. Not because he held grudge against her, but because he knows that one small action( her taking the gun) led to much bigger consequences. And they both know that. And most importantly they are exhausted! Everything started when he went to kordağli’s mansion last ep . Then M told him she would marry his enemy and give his child his name. Then his Ortak was shot, and he had to carry him to the hospital and operate on him while injured!(an injury that was caused my Aşir himself!) almost losing him. He broke down alone!! no one even saw that because this is how Serhat is used to be🙂‍↕️ Then he started suspecting his own brother. Then yilidz rose the gun in front of the other ağas and that’s when all the pressure and the responsibility of maintaining control and respect not just in his family, but as an Ağa, crushed him at once! Then Yıldız was jailed because of M & the next day it was confirmed that Akif shot Aşir and he discovered his betrayal with nida and hast to give his own brother to death! Because that’s what morally correct! And then Hicran First, she was someone he was supposed to protect cuz Aşir told him to protect her. Then suddenly, she is his sister. And just as quickly, she was dying. He found out his own mother was behind her suffering. He didn’t get time to process any of it. The guilt alone is enough to destroy someone. Knowing she was always there, part of his life, and he didn’t know. That he couldn’t protect her. That he couldn’t repay her. And it didn’t stop there… He lost his status. He was manipulated by M. He was pushed further and further. Then came the final blow Hicran’s brain death. And right after that, he had to face the reality of her being an organ donor. And then… her heart goes to her killer… Anyway, since you’re all acting like superhuman creatures and these situations wouldn’t affect you at all if you were in his place then go ahead, have at it.

i know everyone is furious at fan xiao after what he did to you shulang in this episode, but hear me out - his actions, while absolutely painful and unfair to shulang, aren’t coming from simple cruelty. fan xiao hurts the people closest to him because he genuinely doesn’t know how to handle closeness without turning it into control. to him, vulnerability is danger, affection is leverage, and letting someone in feels like placing a knife in their hand and hoping they won’t stab him. so yes, what he did to you shulang was harsh, selfish, and emotionally devastating. but it wasn’t about punishing him, it was about protecting himself. he lashes out because he’s terrified of losing control, terrified of being exposed, terrified of caring too much. and shulang, by simply existing in his life, became the one person who could hurt him the most, so he struck first. it doesn’t excuse him. but it does explain him. #ToMyShore #ToMyShoreEp8 #FanXiao

Then, the "Ibo boy" turns to the next one, the "Hausa Conservative," hoping he will give him, but that one ignores him after remembering what he the “ Ibo boy” has done to him in the past. Guess who the Ibo boy blames? He blames the Yoruba boy who has been giving to him repeatedly. He will accuse him of not giving everything, wanting to punish him for saying no more. He will try to tarnish the Yoruba boy’s image, going back to tell his own people that the Yoruba boy hates him because he didn’t give him all he has. He will denigrate the Yoruba boy’s parents. He will constantly claim victimhood and never praise the Yoruba boy for at least giving him something out of the little he has. Every time the Yoruba boy tries to explain himself that he was the only one who at least gave you some of his so you won’t go Hungry because he sees him as a brother, the Ibo boy will cry out profusely that the whole neighbourhood will eventually believe the Ibo boy. I love how the screenwriters didn't make his character ended as a "love brain" guy that will just love the FL without any reason. even if he's already been hurt. when he was rejected, he chose to stay away from sxf. it's not until sxf came to his house that he tried to open communication with her again. in 1st video below, he said that he will also end the relationship if he feels it doesn't spark happiness anymore. this is inline with his mother's hardships during marriage. she was trying to hold onto someone who didn't have the same amount of love and made her ended up loving alone and struggling alone. this is also the reason why he didn't propose to sxf. actually, after sxf gave him the ring and the way he said "I thought you will propose me", we know he already considering marriage. but it was only when she propose to him then he propose her right away. did he passively waiting? no. at one side, he waited for her to finally ready to marry him by her own willing. at the other side, he make sure that she also have the same amount of love so he will not end up being the one who has more love in this relationship. he make sure no one in this relationship will end up like his mother. the importance to love yourself before loving others. thanks he suye for this lesson🥹🫶🏻

The thing I love most after enlistment is how Jimin’s light isn’t just bright. It’s the brightest it has ever been. There’s a glow to him, a quiet radiance with that warm aura you can feel in his smile and those soft giggles. Like I said in my post, he looks freer. I’ve been a Jimin bias for a long time, from the very beginning, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen him shine quite like this. I keep going through old memories because this version of him carries pieces of every era I fell in love with. Maybe it’s simply been too long since we’ve seen him like this. Maybe I’m overwhelmed and grateful that he’s truly back. Maybe. Maybe not. But something about him now tells me he’s okay. He feels more grounded, more secure in himself, standing in a place that feels steady under him. His confidence is quiet but unmistakably real. And just to be clear, it’s not that he lacked confidence at any point in the last ten years. He always had it. What I mean is that this Jimin… it’s a different kind. It's a“He doesn’t give a fuck” kind of confidence, the type that comes from knowing himself completely and choosing to live in that freedom. Every single thing about him right now is just beautiful. The way he moves, the way he laughs, the way he carries this calm, freeing aura. It makes me happy… genuinely and deeply happy to witness this version of him.
