Having unconditional faith in Jesus Christ gives me the greatest peace. If He is in control of my life, anything that happens to me I know it’s for my highest good. The good and the bad things. I trust Him.

On Charlie's last international trip the week before he was martyred, he visited Tokyo and talked about his faith in Jesus Christ: "Things might get difficult, you might be called names, there might be protesters. I can tell you in the midst of all of that, having strong family and friends, and having a relationship with God is the most important way to sustain a movement like this. "And for me that looks like my personal relationship with Jesus Christ."

Today I was baptized. This is an expression of my faith in Jesus Christ. This is union with Christ in His death and resurrection. He has taken me from death to life, saved by grace through faith. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I want the world to know it!

"I always felt a little uncomfortable talking about my faith in public, as much as I love the Lord and as much as it was an important part of my life. I have talked more about Jesus Christ in the past two weeks than I have my entire time in public life." JD Vance
