Breslow will hit us with all of the “I” statements “I saw the value in Durbin” “I believed in Durbin when it was time to either send him down to AAA or bench him” And then blame everyone else “Coaching staff’s fault as to why Durbin needed to get outside coaching to unlock his ability at the plate”

Breslow is obviously going to get fired. We as a fan base need higher expectations as to what gets us excited, the daily breslow getting fired posts are lame

It definitely does help Breslow’s job security. He comes from pitching, the pitching staff is good, Contreras was his, and Duran was not. A Durbin turnaround, a good trade deadline, and playing above .500 the rest of the way probably gets him another season.
