"'Shedeur's biggest problem in college was running backward and taking sacks.' We've heard this repeated so many times in the media so now any time he gets sacked once, everyone thinks it was 5 sacks for -50 yards." Since Shedeur Sanders became the Browns starting quarterback, taking sacks has not been a problem. He still has one of the lowest pressure-to-sack ratios in the NFL (14.6). The bigger concern is the turnovers. Sanders has 8 interceptions in 5.5 games. True, some of those are not his fault (thanks, Jerry Jeudy). But limiting turnovers should still be Sanders' area of focus, which it undoubtedly is. It's also not uncommon for a rookie QB to have a high turnover rate and low touchdown numbers: - Trevor Lawrence had 8 INT in his first 5 career games - Josh Allen had just 10 TD to 12 INT his rookie season - Drake Maye threw at least 1 pick in 8/13 games last year (finished with 15 TD and 10 INT) - Bryce Young finished with 11 TD and 10 INT as a rookie And these guys were all first-round picks or even No. 1 overall picks.

Caleb Williams and the Bears offense took 6 sacks on 9 charted pressures (PFF) in Week 14 Five on 3rd down Let's look through them... 1) WR spacing is brutal. Some type of mesh concept that ends in confusion. Eyes drop versus looping rusher. Sack 2) This one is on Caleb, IMO. LT forces the rusher around the hoop. Plenty of space for Caleb to hit DJM or Kmet - both looking back for the ball - to get a tough first down or set up 4th and short. QB pats the football instead. 3) Instant interior disruption. All that needs to be said 4) DJ Moore takes some time to get into his route - is open on the in-breaker as a free looper inside flashes in front of Caleb. Instead of ripping it in the face of pressure, Caleb goes into creation mode. 5) Caleb's eyes pull the robber safety to his right, to create space for the concept on the left. Both Odunze on the stick and DJM on the wrap-in are open at different times. He stares right at it. But creation mode then sack 6) Zero separation from 'the big 3' WRs

After the Pitt game they changed the defense circa week 8 & suddenly Gary forgot how to rush the passer lol He went from leading the league in sacks through 8 weeks to no sacks again all year & it's because he's lazy according to you, but the film tells a different story, so does Gary's reps who I speak with, but ill let this rest right here bro.
