There it is: California Rep. Adam Schiff says he wants the federal government to sponsor Hollywood. It's not because Democrats care about good filmmaking or supporting the arts. It's not that deep. The Democratic Party wants Hollywood to be part of its Propaganda Machine.

There is an alternative to Government welfare cuts - a 2% tax on wealth. There is no shortage of money here, we just need a fairer approach to tax - take more from the few not the many. Credit: PoliticsJoe

Left: Robert Jenrick says Conservative losses were not because of how right wing the Conservative party has become.. Then he says they did't deliver tax cuts and acknowledges that public services are broken Right: That time Robert Jenrick has cartoons at a children's asylum seeker center painted over What's odd is that he says they didn't lower taxes enough but also admits that public services were decimated But he doesn't seem to acknowledge that public services have been decimated because of 14 years of Conservative tax cuts, so he's in a circular loop of 'we need tax cut' and 'public services are decimated' unable to recognise that unless you fund public services they will be decimated 🤷‍♂️

Trump wants No Tax on Tips. Trump wants No Tax on Overtime. Trump wants No Tax on Social Security. Trump wants to unleash energy production. Trump wants to cut your taxes. We were better-off under a Trump economy. Kamala cast the votes that caused inflation. Kamala wants to enact price controls. Kamala wants to tax unrealized gains. Kamala wants to raise the price of homes. Kamala wants to raise your taxes. The choice is CLEAR. Vote TRUMP-VANCE.

There is no need to cut a single penny in support for disabled people. Tax extreme wealth instead. This week in Parliament I presented my petition for Wealth Taxes, Not Disability Cuts backed by over 75,000 people. I'll keep fighting for this.

The campaign for a Wealth Tax is growing from strength to strength. I was recently on Newsnight calling for a Wealth Tax as a fairer alternative to cuts. A 2% Wealth Tax on assets over £10 million could raise £24 BILLION a year. Let's keep campaigning until we get one!

Obama: I would argue that wealthy people in this country do not pay enough in taxes. And the very ultra-wealthy oftentimes pay no taxes and have figured out how to game the system. ...But when I hear billionaires say they are moving to Florida, not because they love Florida — nothing against Florida, nice weather — but because they’re trying to avoid a state tax, which is a rounding error in their wealth. There is a certain mentality there that says, "I should not have to give up anything."

[WATCH] Finance Portfolio Committee chairperson Joe Maswanganyi says it can't be right that when the government wants to raise tax there are threats of protests. He says the state will at some point collapse if run on the 'populism' that there will never be a tax increase. "You are not going to run a state based on populism." #Newzroom405

REPORTER: "The president said he wants to let the Trump tax cuts expire. If that law expires, it does raise taxes on almost every American. Does he still support that expiring without anything else in place?" KJP: "The president is going to allow the Trump tax cut expire. He was very clear. But he will not raise taxes on anyone making less than $400,000/year…It’s going to expire for the wealthy." REPORTER: "The president can’t pick and choose which parts of the law sunsets. The entire law will sunset, and the Tax Foundation says that someone who's married, two kids, making $85,000 would pay $1,700 more in taxes. That's somebody under $400K—" KJP: BUT REPUBLICANS.
