California doesn't require Voter ID even though citizens had to present identification (and medical records) to enter a Starbucks during COVID. On top of that, California is the only state to forbid Voter ID. Newsom signed legislation making it unlawful at the local level.

We provide our social security number and ID when we register to vote. When we vote we offer a signature, which is checked. That is the ID. Maybe you should educate yourself how our election system works here in California, Kevin?

Actually, Kevin, California does require ID when you register to vote. Once your ID is on file, we use a signature match. If your signature doesn't match that on file, your vote is put in pending status until you resolve the issue.
