Taiwan can hand-count millions of ballots in a single night. India can tally hundreds of millions of votes faster than California can finish a statewide election. So what's California's excuse? A state with unlimited resources, cutting-edge technology, and a budget larger than most countries somehow struggles with the most basic function of democracy. Why? No state has rigged elections, committed fraud, and enriched its leaders more than California under Gavin Newsom.
