@merissahansen17 8 U.S.C. § 1324, makes it illegal to knowingly assist someone in entering, residing, or remaining in the U.S. unlawfully. Penalties include up to 5 years in prison for basic offenses and more severe penalties if the crime involves other aggravating factors.
