@DavidTangipa fled CA 9 yrs ago, after 44 yrs… it was paradise in the ‘70s. started planning to leave 3 yrs before leaving in 2017. it was a shit hole by then. never looked back - way better off now. you can have it.

This is just sad. California spends 8 to 10 times more on services for illegal immigrants than it does on veterans services from the General Fund. And now the legislature is trying to mislead the people of California with another Trojan horse ballot title by calling this Measure “Veteran and Affordable Housing Bond.” I voted no today because veterans should be prioritized in our budget. We should not have to pull a bond out during a record revenue year and a record budget. When the state spends over $10 billion on illegal immigrant services, including lawyer fees and medical healthcare, but only about $500 million on our veterans, we have a problem. Is it too hard to ask that we make sure every single veteran is off the street before providing services to individuals from other countries? Is it too much to ask that our veterans who fought for this country are provided more services and resources than individuals from other countries? Never let the state tell you we do not have enough money. What they really mean is that they just do not have enough money for you. Share, repost, vote, and save California.

They're using it to launder money, and this is the way they do it. - It costs no money to California because they raise taxes on managed care companies, the companies that are providing Medicaid. - So they go to these companies and say, we're going to tax you, but don't worry, we're going to give you all of the money that we just taxed you from, right back. - But in the meantime, we're going to take that money and we're going to pull down federal dollars, and that'll let us have more money so that we can spend it on expanding the population for Medicaid and spend it on illegal immigrants.
