We live on a planet that is 70+% water. This means beach roads are everywhere. All over the globe. Is California coast beautiful? Yes. Is it worth paying $17 for a quickie burger & a coke? $150 a night at some CockaRoacha motel? No. Go where you are treated best. Leave.

We weren't impressed. Too much traffic. Bird shit all over the rocks. The portable toilets were a disaster. My wife slept thru most of CA-1. And she was only impressed with the Hearst Mansion. Pebble Beach was ok.
