Dom has good analysis. But ... I don't think it's as nearly as calculated as he thinks. Conor didn't care what weight he fought Diaz at. It just wasn't that important to him. And Max has a big frame. Super-big for 145. I tend to think it's more about comfort than advantage.

Totally agree and I think he loses some of that cardio that Max is famous for. Not cutting means he maybe didn't run as much, maybe didn't do quite as many rounds but certainly carrying the extra weight alone will cause a slight decrease in that cardio
