If there's a squirrel in the backyard, I say "get 'im!", and my dog will wake from a sleep and run into the backyard. She never "gets 'im" but she's been close a couple of times. Watching squirrels scream at her from trees is hilarious.

@oceans_deep13 My dogs come running from across the farm when they hear the table saw or mitre saw start up. They know where the sawdust comes out and will stand there to get covered in it.

I love these! Our Lab, who had selective hearing loss in his senior years (I can’t hear you when you yell for me to come inside) could still hear me unwrap a single slice of cheese downstairs when he was up in another room.

My dogs can hear the sound of their bowls *being picked up* from the other side of the house, but when I want them to do something, they can't hear a damn thing.

He'll be on the bed and I'll open the pork pies unbelievably quite and I heard the thud from him jumping off the bed!

All I have to do is get wet dog food out of the fridge or open a new can and both the dogs and cats come running 😁. Even if it seems like it doesn’t make any noise.
