Where I’m from, apartments are rented. I’m confused at why she needed a realtor instead of working with the leasing agent for the property.

I had three realtors..two white and one Mexican..They're all like this. one lied about calling me multiple times... One didn't know shit about the homes and wore shoes that didn't fit .. and one was hood but chill .. hood but chill sold me a home.

Nah, they dont know every place they bring you to like that. They usually contact the Realtor in charge of the property and get the lockbox code from them which is probably why he was struggling. Feel like a case of holding Black folk to a higher standard than we the others.
