Calling all Creatives! Avalanche is launching Avaissance, an initiative designed to accelerate the careers of artists around the world and foster excitement around the #Avalanche NFT ecosystem. Here are the program highlights👇

There are two pillars to Avaissance: an Artist in Residence program, and the Mona Lisa Initiative for digital art curation.

Over 50 artists will be selected to participate in the 6-month Artist in Residence program, with support from Avalanche and selected professional mentors.

Mentors to guide the artists will initially include Emmy-winning motion graphics artist Emonee LaRussa (@Em0n33y), photographer and founder of ALLSHIPS Dave Krugman (@dave_krugman), and Ryan Wen from popular NFT project Valhalla (@valhalla).

Through the Mona Lisa Initiative, The Avalanche Foundation will collaborate with curatorial teams from all backgrounds to acquire Avalanche NFTs, helping to cement the next generation of digital art on the platform.

Applications for the AIR program are open until the end of April. Artists of all skill levels, working in any medium, can apply for the 6mo residency. Selected artists will receive funding, mentorship, workshops, and support from the Avalanche ecosystem.
