The @RCollEM is starting a 3 yr QiP on TCM in Emergency Departments starting in Oct 23 to see what the barriers are in real time

Today, I raised serious concerns about whistleblowing at Bradford NHS Teaching Hospitals Trust with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, including the landmark decision on whistleblower protection that was issued to Dr Max McLean, the former Chair of the Trust. I look forward to discussing this further in my upcoming meeting with the Health Minister.

Nurses are expected to reject the government's 3.6% pay offer when the result of a vote by members of the Royal College of Nursing is revealed today. It raises the prospect of further strikes across the NHS later this year. The RCN has described the pay award as "grotesque" and less than what doctors and teachers were given.
